Title: Folding Stock with Padding
Post by: Bio on April 08, 2015, 11:38:33 PM
I decided to add some foam to my folding stock after looking at another post on here that turned out well.

I basically just used some 1" PVC insulation and this fabric hockey tape from Amazon.

Here are some photos of the end result.  I also added a piece of padding to the butt stock.  With this combo it makes it much more comfortable.
I've been to the range a few times now and haven't had any issues with it coming off but if any piece lifts up I have a ton of that tape left.

For the main length of the stock I just used a 1/2" or so, just enough to cover the top and some of the sides of the rail, underneath is still solid.  I didn't want to pack too much on it or make it too bulky.
