Wanted to try something different this year and based on a CZC custom tuned Kadet 2 I've been playing with the past year, decided go full throttle with a CZC Accu Shadow with some tweaks:

Sent in a 10-8 plain rear sight and had an undercut/frame reduction done under the beavertail and trigger guard areas. Very subtle but feels significantly better than the Kadet 2 frame which is stock.
Needed to heat the muzzle end of a Blade-Tech CZ 75 SP01 holster to make room for the bushing and extra barrel length.
Can't wait to try it out tomorrow!

Nice! How much machining did you have to do with the slide to get the 10-8 sight fitted?
-
Can't speak for Stu and/or the machinist, but I saw examples of non-OEM sights on CZ slides and inquired. They said they could do a 1911/Novak style/lo mount cut into the slide w/o any problems. I have the 10-8 plain black U-notch rear sight on most of my pistols and figured I'd do the same with the CZ.

Wow! Looks great! Very nice. Enjoy it. ;)

I keep looking, but I can't seem to find the Drool button[emoji2][emoji2]. Very nice FFD.
PS. Welcome to the forum [emoji6].

That looks like a really nice package. Very cool!

Exceptional looking shadow. All the way down to the grips screws. Thank you for the pics.

Very nice, thanks for the pics!
Tell me more about the holster mod...I will need to know soon. Heat gun?

this worked for me....just be careful not to stay in one spot too long or you'll burn the kydex. keep the flame moving

I use a $15 heat gun I bought from Harbour Freight to modify kydex. Its hot air instead of an open flame, and has two settings: low and high (AKA Patient and Impatient). I had to do something similar to a Blade-Tech holster to accommodate my Marvel Unit 1 .22 conversion on a 1911. The bbl sticks out by 1/2" to accept a comp. Heat up the end of the holster until the kydex is flexible, then shove the gun into it and hold while the kydex cools. If you wear a glove you can do some additional molding by pressing / shaping the kydex with your hand.
The heat gun also works pretty good for breaking down red lock-tite.
Flyfishdave's gun looks like the kind you use to finish off creme brulee... (for the record, I like creme brulee!)

Ok, cool (or hot). I have an adjustable porter-cable heat gun, should do the trick. Thanks.
