Title: CGW trigger issues in my 85C

Finally did the deed and made my CGW order. Race hammer/sear combo, light trigger return spring, short reset disconnector, floating trigger pin.
Got everything stuck together no problem. Function test didn't go so well. In single action the hammer drops when the trigger is squeezed. But if I hold the trigger and rack the slide the trigger doesn't reset. The hammer stays cocked but I can pull the trigger and nothing happens. If I put just a bit of rearward pressure on the hammer the trigger resets and functions normally. I assume I need to massage the disconnector a little. Exactly where is what I am not sure of. Its kind of tough to tell with everything put together but I am thinking the knob that's on the right hand side as I am holding the gun. Specifically the verticle surface on the front. Can anyone confirm this?

I had the same problem when I installed the disco.

David told me to massage the area on the trigger bar that contacts the disconnector and leave the disconnector alone.

Check with him.

Yes call David to make sure. But I agree with Painter, sounds like the SA face. The little "wing" is the DA. (Had that with my Rami) FWIW, I much prefer having to slightly fit the Disco. Makes it just that much sweeter[emoji6].

I put in a call to them and left a message, but It was later in the day when I called.
Thanks all for the quick replies, and thanks for the pics Tok! It's tough to see the actual mechanics of how the disco works when it's assembled.

Talked to David on Wednesday morning. I was in process of emailing him as my previous calls (5) had gone un answered or replied to. He called me back shortly after the last call and he answered my question and apologized for the difficulty in getting ahold of him and I could tell in his voice and by all he said to me that CGW is working their tails off and are doing the best they can and as efficiently as they can. Not for nothing Groundhogwhacka, I'm positive that he'll contact you when he has free time. Cause my guess... That's what he does with free time.  :-\

I understand. I am a mechanic and we have cars parked two deep around the whole parking lot. Feels like we are never going to get ahead.

I worked on the trigger bar a bit and after assembling and disassembling about 5 times to file a little at a time it functions perfectly.
