Hey, Rip glad to see you are back and willing to host the matches. This will give me a chance to try my new Bald Eagle rest at 25 and 50 yards.

Two targets shot on 5/3/15, had fun shooting this month's targets. I leave them to your review. As always, it is fun to participate in this forums online matches.

Well, BihnThuyUSN, I won't repeat what I said in they iron sights thread, but it still holds.
Here's how I score yours:
L to R, top to bottom:
first target:
10,6,10
10,15,10
15,15,15 = 106
second target:
10,6,10
5,20,6
10,10,2 = 79
Good shooting!

Rock-it said it all!
Great Shooting Binh.
I will be getting to the range to shoot on the Saturday of Memorial Day. Can't wait.

Here is my target. I am actually pretty happy with it since I shot it at our local public range with just some stacked wood 2x4's with carpet on top for a front rest and no rear rest. I did use some good Wolf Match Target ammo as my first target with Federal Auto match was not so hot. I am lucky that my lefty CZ American 22 is very accurate, w/ a 2 lb trigger...... I shot at 7x with a little Weaver scope. I tried something different..... shooting between heartbeats this time and on a couple I missed the timing by quite a bit causing what I call 'old guy flyers'! I tried using 80lb paper this time as well. Someone needs to review that middle right bull (and any others) as I don't have a scoring plug. Upper right looks close in photo but the actual target shows it as a hit. Glad we can finally get out in decent weather and do some shooting and see how everyone else does with these targets. I sure enjoy these matches.

Nice job Rimfire.
Looks good to me when I enlarge the view.

Really nice, Rimfire7.

I ordered a 455 FS, should be here this week. Got the sling today and dyed it darker. Scope should come tomorrow [Burris 6x Mini w/ AO] and I've already got some Warner QD rings. I never should have sold my 452 American w/ 27.5" bbl. Oh well, went to a junior shooter/sniper, lol. Hope it likes Horn V-max 7 gr.
I'll be able to get in both the open sghts and scope matches, already down loaded the targets.
I'm left w/ a 455 Tacticool Varmint w/ heavy bbl. DJ tuned this one up and I'm finally getting it to group: 4x18x40 mm w/ AO on it. Here's a target I shot at 50 from another forum, tickled pink!

awshucks - Glad to have you on board!!!
Any chance you will be getting to the range again? if so please print the target from the link above so we can score everyone equally.
Thanks,
Riptide

Riptide: I wasn't entering that target, matter of fact, I am not shooting that gun for this months match. My FFL got hung up or I'd f been to the range today, lol. I'm still waiting on the FS to get here. I have the proper targets printed and waiting.........sorry for the confusion :)

Well, found out today they still haven't shipped my FS. Been worried a bit about the Burris fitting behind the rear sight, so I mounted it to my 455 Tacticool. The Burris has 1/8" per click, but I finally got it sighted in. Looks like I'll be ok w/ the FS and the Burris. I'm amazed at how well it shot at the range. This was the only target I shot after sight in[at 6x] I'll post another target w/ FS, but it won't touch this one!

Wow!....nice shooting awshucks. That will be hard to beat.

Thanks for the compliments. In reality, we are only competing w/ ourselves, lol FS next Wed........
-
awshucks put the womb to us. Excellent shooting with your 455.
-
Well hopefully I'll be ready for June's. Quick question, does it have to be a .22 rifle? Or will this work?[emoji2][emoji2]

It's gonna take a little practice[emoji6]
I shoot my .44 at 50-100yards, but it was getting spendy. So I picked up the Taurus 990 and put the same scope on. I definitely need more scope practice for hunting. So if nothing else, this is gonna be a ton of fun. Thanks for OK'ing it guys[emoji2]
Don't worry, I'll take it easy on ya at first[emoji12][emoji12]

That is one nice looking 22lr revolver. Going to be interesting to see how that setup shoots.

Who else is joining the Rimfire Shoot on the last weekend!

Haven't got out yet Rip, so I'll have to wait for next month[emoji6]

I scored it a 99. I thought it would be better based on earlier groups.

Welcome justiw!!!
Glad you joined us. Nice shooting.
-
Well I had a great time today. 2 1/2 hours at the range with no thoughts in the world.
Shot the Scope Match & the Iron Sights match along with 60 Varget test loads for my AR - very relaxing!
So I used 2 different ammo today CCI Green & SK. You can decide!
Had a rocky start with the SK. Sorry about the orientation.
