Title: Pre-B Disconnector Help Needed

I purchased a new 75 Shadow (not SP01) a few months ago.  Last week I picked up one of the pre-b disconnectors to drop in.  Everything seemed to go smoothly, it function checked with and without the safety engaged without the slide on.  I put the slide on and it still functions fine.

I rack the slide and... nothing.  Hammer is locked back and the trigger is dead.  I have to take it apart and remove the sear cage assembly to get it to reset. 

Anybody happen to know what's going on?
