Title: CZ-82 Failure to feed
Post by: KMiller315 on August 21, 2015, 09:07:29 AM
Been having some issues with my CZ-82, first I thought it was the recoil spring, so I got the tuner pack from Wolff, then thought it was the magazines, and because I wasn't a member of this forum until recently, I wasted money on the KeepShooting mags, then some 'mfg CZ' mags, then CZ-USA springs for those mags.  Finally, I got some CZ-USA mags for it and the problem was solved!  Nearly... On one of them I get a malfunction on the 4th or so round where the round is just pointing slightly downwards, all I need to do is rack it back a mm or so and it pops up and chambers.  Did I get a bad mag from CZ or does it just need broken in?  Gonna experiment with my different weight recoil springs and see if that alleviates the issue.

Take the magazine apart and make sure there are no burrs on the inside of the witness holes. Check the magazine follower for scratches that could indicate that it is binding.

Hopefully that will correct the issues. The genuine CZ-UB mags have worked flawlessly in my 82 & 83.
