So I just noticed these on the cz-usa store: http://shop.cz-usa.com/ProductDetail/042004944002_Threaded-Barrel-9mm-Sp01-12x28
Are these new? Anyone know if they have enough shoulder to host a suppressor?

Suppressor should be fine.

The ones we have in stock so far have required fitting. So just be aware of this.

Why is this? I figured all barrels are uniform. What needs to be changed?

They may just drop in, but there is always the possibility of needing to fit a barrel. If certain parts are made slightly oversize, you can always remove metal for that perfect fit. If they wind up undersized, that is a lot harder to correct.

What part did you have to fit?

I bought a threaded barrel for my Sp01 Tac from CZ USA about six months ago. I honestly can’t tell you yet if there are any shoulder problems as my can is still in NFA jail.
I needed to file/stone down part of the breech before it fit into place. It took a YouTube video, A vise, a black marker, a file, and about 20 minutes. There was no way it was going to fit with out the mod. I have had no problems firing the new barrel once fitted.
Good luck.

I also got the threaded barrel for the SP01 9mm.
I fit it to my Shadow, took about half an hour of leisurely work, maybe less. I checked repeatedly to ensure I was not moving more material than needed.
It fits just right in my SP01 Shadow now. I later checked how it fit in my SP01, and its a hard fit, tighter than the SP01 shadow's fit! Slightly different manufacturing dimensions then between the two CZs.
The fitting is as the breach end, its easy, and YouTube was handy. Just need to go slow and careful.
