Met a local gunsmith a few months ago and got to shoot a P-01 he had just customized for another customer and loved it. Bought an OD green P-01 the next week and have been saving to have the CGW parts since. I finally have the parts ordered and can't wait to have them installed :D
Ordered:
Trigger Pin
Item #: TR-PIN
RP-TRS
SRS-2
RRK - Reach Reduction Kit
H-PIN
16 RH-D/C
Also have some meprolight night sights I picked up on sale last month. Once I have everything installed and tuned, I'll only need some new grips and the gun will be what I had envisioned when I started...lol!
-
Congrats, I love mine.
-
I can't wait. As soon as the parts get in I need to get up to see the Wizard 8)
-
We talked about it. He is looking forward to it.
-
That definitely makes two of us! lol!
-
I'm my very biased opinion, the p01 is the perfect sidearm. I did the CGW upgrades on mine. The p01 is the bees knees
-
You'll be pleased.
-
You will be so happy after you Cajunize it.

Parts should be here today 8)

That's a good question. Do you and the Wizard still shoot on Thursday's? If so, I could probably run up for a range session and to drop off the parts.
-
Parts have arrived and I've talked to the Wizard and we'll be meeting at your favorite range on Thursday 8)
-
Sweet. Looking forward to it.
-
Great time last night at the range! I'm looking forward to getting the gun back with all the goodies installed 8)
-
It was nice to see you again. Yes, had a great time. I am looking forward to when you pick it up.
-
Ordered new grips and they arrived about an hour before I took it up to be worked on. New grips are a bit thinner, but I think I like them. Gives the gun a more distinctive look. VZ Grips - Tactical Diamonds - Hyena Brown:

I want to order the CGW pro kit for my p-01. Is it difficult to upgrade-Cajunize by one self? Or, should I have a trusted gunsmith do it? I just don't want to send my p-01 off for 2 months to CGW.

You should be able to do it yourself. There is plenty of help on here in way of videos, threads and people to ask.

Thanks Bugboy!

Found out the gun is ready to be tested soon. Hopefully, it'll be ready to pick up on Thursday. Can't wait to shoot it!

All you need now is the race hammer and 85c trigger and youll be good to go. All of the parts are very easy to install yourself, The Searcage is the tough part... but once you figure it out its a breeze. Race hammer is drop in, as is everything else on the P-01. The hammer makes a huge difference

Both are part of what I ordered. Just heard back that the SA pull is around 3lbs and the DA is now around 7lbs. Should be heading up to shoot the gun and pick it up on Thursday. Can't wait!
If that was for FRC and not me, never mind ;)

Picked it up tonight and I'm VERY happy with it. Trigger is awesome and the new sights are tons better than the stock sights! 8)

Thanks. Gun shoots wonderfully. Can't wait to get it out to the range again! ;D

Ended up going to the range the day after picking the gun up (Friday) and again yesterday (Sunday). Can't get enough of shooting this wonderful pistol. Have run several types of ammo through it, Fiocchi, Perfecta, Blazer Brass and Geco. All fired fine, no light strikes or issues at all. Even shot a couple mags each of Golden Saber 124gr and Critical Duty 135gr +p with no problems. This is my new OC carry gun and I love it 8)

I enjoyed shooting it very much. It's definitely a keeper.

Yeah, I went into the CZ madness with my eyes wide open. I'd shot a few that had been cajunized and realized I needed to pick up some CZ's for my collection. This is the first I've been able to save up to do and it's every bit as sweet as I'd hoped!

It's a double disease I tell ya. First it's CZitus, then you get Gator madness. [emoji6]
