So, I wish to remove my rear sights.
I have searched numerous forums and I can find responses stating that to remove it drift it left to right. (viewing from rear)
I can also find others that state the complete opposite.
And then I can also find posts that say it doesnt matter which direction.
I would really appreciate some clarification on this matter before I pull out the 4lb sledge hammer, lol.
I have attached photos of my compact with factory installed sights which apparent by the marks on the sights have been installed left to right.

I changed out the factory sights on 5 of my CZ's from left to right. Some fitting of the replacement rear can be necessary as they can be overly tight and you'll also need to properly cut the groove in the front sight for the roll pin. There a at least a couple threads on how this is done.

well the majority of threads proclaim to remove Left to right.
BUT.... since these appear to have been INSTALLED Left to Right, should I then attempt to remove them Right to Left ?

That's what I meant. Drive it out moving to the left and reinstall moving to the right or to simplify things remove and reinstall from the left side of the slide.

That's how I did mine. Same as a Beretta 92. From the rear, push out to the left, insert and push back in from the same side.

Me too. Out the left side and in the same side.

Typically sights go out towards the ejection port (at least on the guns I've worked on).
I had little trouble removing the stock sights from my SP-01's.

YES, this worked out just fine. using a pusher tool, out TO the left, in FROM the left.
