I just got these grips today and really like them a lot.

My gun came with the wooden grips on the CA version of the 97B and I installed a pair of the new aluminum grips. Although both grips are attractive in their own way, neither felt just right. Funny thing was, I actually shot my first Action Pistol match with the gun using an aluminum left grip and the wooden right grip. The feel was good. . . . the look. . . . .unusual. ;-)
Hope this helps somebody.
BTW, if you're looking for a set of the aluminum grips with screws, I've got a set.

Thanks for the post. Mine also came with the wooden grips that I find slippery.
I've been thinking about getting a pair of rubber grips like the ones on my SP01. I love the grips on that pistol.

Glad to help. I've found "lots" of comments about the aluminum, which I tried and there are tons of custom grips for $80 to $125, but the Midway old style rubber grips seem to be doing the job just fine and they have a good "utility" look to them, which I like for this gun.

The rubber grips don't look the best but the fit is much better for me than wood or aluminum, tried them all
