I just picked up this CZ locally and there seems to be some confusion as to what model it is and cal.
The sales tag read Model 26 .32 cal. But a small zip lock bag with a spare mag says Number 483M-Make CZ-Model-27-Caliber 380 ACP 7 Rd
I searched on line and that comes back as a Tripk mag? Both mags are the same with plastic followers.
The fellows at the pawn store didn't seem to know or care one way or another so I bought it just the same.
Here's what's stamped on the pistol:
Top of slide Ceska Zbrojovka A.S.v Praze 31606 and a Lion with either a single or double tail
Left side on the slide letter C with a (arrow pointing up) and the letter Z than 26
Left side of frame is a C with a v on top of that letter (again the arrow) and the letter Z followed by 31606
On the front grip strap it's stamped 6D 691
On the right side of frame near the muzzle 31606
On the right side of frame near the rear the letter J followed by a Lion with a double tail and the number 26
When you pull back the slide the barrel rotates. I sure could use your help to find out what model this is and cal.
I cycled some .380 snap caps and they seem to fit fine in the barrel and eject, just want to be sure.
The pistol shows no pitting and feels solid as a rock. I have added a photo below of the CZ.
Thank you.

If it is in .380 (aka 9x17, 9mm Browning Short), wouldn't that be a Vz24?

Hopefully someone who actually knows something about these will answer soon. I'd like to know if my guess is correct.

You have a CZ vizor 24 (in USA aka CZ 24) accepted by Czech army in 1926
Should be .380 ACP (not .32)
Really nice find !! Congrats !!

Nice looking 24, congrats!
The '6D 691' indicates it was issued to the 6th Artillery section, or possibly regiment, and is the 691st weapon assigned to them.
CZ 24 and 27 magazines are pretty much interchangeable.
