Can the BREN 805 Carbine make a good deer rifle? CZ-USA Vice President Jason Morton thinks so,, and judging by this picture and accompanying text lifted from Facebook...I think he's right. I am also EXTREMELY jealous!

Filled my Kansas tag on Sunday at Timber Trails with Craig and Chuck. Never had a big one come into sight even though everybody else in camp saw them from their stands. But this 3x3 showed up twice after we agreed it was a prime candidate for a management buck. Good time with great people. This is definitely the first whitetail taken with the CZ 805 Bren Carbine and possibly the first game animal. I'm not sure if they have done any hunting with it yet in Europe. The .223 Hornady American Whitetail load and the Aimpoint T-2 Micro got it done.

Pretty awesome... hoping my state legislators will pass a new bill (passed the senate, now in the house) that would allow hunting big game with semi's like many other states do... and maybe one day I could post a photo like this one with my Bren... ;D

Some guys get all the cool toys first!

Nice. Around here(NC) a ton of people hunt deer with .223 rifles. You'll never get a shot past 100 yards so you don't need anything exotic or even magnification.

Awesome deer! Looks like an 18" barreled Bren too. Hopefully, the shape of things to come!

Yes, the new BREN 805 Carbine, set for introduction some time first or second quarter of 2016! Saving pennies...

What do you guys think by looking at the photo, 16" or 18" barrel on his rifle? My 11" barrel for example (sans flash hider and lock nut) ends at the gas valve.
