Hello,
I am currently working on getting a stock adapter for the CZ 805 Bren produced using the bushmaster ACR folding stock. I am wondering if there is any interest in this and if there is I would be taking pre-orders once the details are ironed out. If your interested let me know so I can get an idea on what the market is like, and if you would absolutely buy one. It would just be the adapter.

The one for the SCAR seems pretty popular. I would imagine there would be fair interest from Bren owners as well. I don't think there are too many BREN's out there yet, but once the carbine version hits the market that will change.

I think it's one of those things that if offered, folks will buy... Whether enough to be worth the time and trouble is an unknown. Also worth consideration would perhaps be the new magpul AK stocks... Yugos look to be somewhat easily adaptable.
SCAR stocks though perhaps more common, don't have lines that complement the Bren IMO.

It would look like this with the ACR stock.

Guessing, I would bet you could sell a few prior to the carbine hitting the market, but once it is available folks will just go that direction. Some will want an alternative to the factory offering but I suspect the numbers will be small at least initially. On the other hand, the ergos of factory stock don't strike me as being ideal so maybe that might be the inroad for your offering?

This looks PERFECT.

This looks PERFECT.
+1. Scar stock wouldn't look nearly as good...

I would get one, if you fold the stock in half and still shoots ejecting the brass.

This is definitely possible. We messed around with doing an ACR adapter for the BREN a little bit last year, but were not sure the market was ready to support it (investment in tooling/fixtures and setup). We would also include/integrate a new rear sling mount and a redesigned brass deflector so that the stock can fold flush (the ACR stock likes to hit the right side rear sling loop and the oem brass deflector behind the ejection port).

I like it, I like it a lot.

Looks fantastic!

Very cool!

The ACR stock is the best folder available today. I hope this adapter is still around when I buy a Bren carbine.

I am pushing to make this a reality somewhere. I think once the Carbines hit the market there will be a lot of new owners and a larger market for products like this. KNS Precision is producing a lot of great stuff for the Bren right now and are rolling out new charging handles, stock adapters, mlok and keymod, and pic rails. A bunch of stuff is rolling out over there. So hopefully more aftermarket support will come about soon.
-
I like it, but whats wrong with the Bren stock? or are you thinking about 922r compliance?

That is drop dead gorgeous.

I thought about this too, was going to suggest it to Kinetic Development Group and Sideproject LLC to see if they were interested.

I wonder if HBI has thought about this more or messed with the adapter any. I'm getting closer to my stamp and Iv had to settle with a AR buffer tube adapter from KNS so far.
