Have springer precision mount ordered. Which red dot- vortex venom or Burris Fastfire3-your thoughts. Don't want to spend $$ for trijicon RMR. For ccw and hunting protection from coyotes during deer archery season. Thanks Steve

I put a FastFire 3 on my Shadow late last season. Only had a chance to shoot it in 1 match and am still working on getting used to it.
I am happy with it so far. I got the 8 moa dot.

I have a FFIII with the 3 moa dot and like it.
It doesn't make me a good shooter. :P

If you find a Venom in stock somewhere, let me know. I have a dozen customers looking for one. lol

I have a Venom on a Glock 10mm and so far it has been great through about 200 fairly warm rounds.
I bought mine at Primary Arms but they are Out of Stock now.

Midwayusa.com has vortex venom in stock

does the vortex venom fit on the burris stylemount as well ?

Yes.
And Cabelas has the Burris FF3 3MOA on sale for $199. Mine arrives Friday 8)

I've had really good luck with the Burris FF III with a 3 moa dot. I just ordered another one tonight. I've had 3, no problems with any of them. The next one goes on either a 75B in 9mm with a CGW bushing or on an all steel Sig P-226.

the wife wanted to try one "fastfire 3" on her 85C , she got a little nervous when I took the hammer to her new gun though ???
ironically we got her her own 85c because apparently we don't shoot at the same aiming point .
I was shooting my 527 the other day and brought her gun along to pass time while the 204 barrel cooled .
set up a target 7 yards away and shortly after 50 shots turned into one 2" hole :)
theres an 8" swinging target I thought I would try for at a known 50 yards and hit it 50% and the other were close , cool !
even managed a few hits at 75 yards , couldn't find the elevation at 100 though .

Try 8" above a 25 yard zero for 100 yards with the 9mm at 115 gr bullet.
