Hi all I just received my new Sar K2 today. Took her out and fed her 100 flawless rounds. Great pistol.
I have somewhat short thumbs. I can't draw the gun and take the safety off without some slight maneuvering.
Does anyone make an extended safety, or does the one for the witness fit? Thanks.

I can't answer your question, but I don't really see a reason to use the safety at all, unless you carry it cocked.

I'd like to carry it cocked. I am used to a m&P with no safety. I carry chambered 100% of the time. In guess it would be basically the same. Cocked, safety off. I just was hoping to be able to carry cocked with safety.

Alternately you can use the thumb of your off hand to sweep the safety down as you move into a firing position. It takes some practice but it can be done efficiently and is probably safer in the long run than maneuvering your grip thumb to do it.

I definitely agree with that being safer. I was doing a little practice earlier using that method. I believe I could get it down proficiently eventually. My next concern would be drawing and shooting single handedly.
Anybody know if this is compatible? Or even some modifications to make it fit wouldnt bother me either.
