The choice is yours, but make sure it's really an Anshutz, and not a Savage, before you pay a premium for it.

Why on earth would Anschutz stoop so low as to rebrand a savage?? Wouldn't that hurt their name?

Why would STI sell a 1911 with a frame from the Philippines, $$$$
Why would Remington rebrand a rifle made in Serbia? $$$$
Why would Springfield Armory market a pistol made in Croatia? $$$$
The STI Spartan, Remington 798, the XD pistol.

I guess so... but still Anschutz makes olympic grade target rifles. It just seems a little like Bugatti rebranding a Dodge Dart or something. ;D

Exactly perfect example! Personally, I never understood what BugARTi was all about, but sure it came down to $$$$$$.

This place needs ROTFLMAO smiley.

If you want an Anschutz (and you're sure it's genuine) buy that. If all you want is a serviceable 22 rifle, buy the CZ.
Only you know the answer

Easy. Buy them both :)
