Wow!  I bought mine NIB last year for under $200. Has the price of these neat little guns really gone up that much?

No.  If you got yours for $200 or so, somebody screwed up big time.  That's a $300 - $400 gun.  $200 is way below dealer cost.

I believe CZUSA had a bunch of Poly 380's that they sold to distrubutors for WAY CHEAP!  I got my first for 200$ shipped from WA.  He had a bunch of them and said he was still making some money on them....but I doubt Ill see one that cheap again.
Shoot well
P.S It was NIB..just for reference

Andy M.--If you got yours from Allan's Armory, you won't be disappointed.  I got mine a couple months ago and aside from a little holster wear, it is mint and shoots everything I've tried without complaint.

Now that the promotional pricing on the 83 is long gone (190.00-225.00 factory new with 2 10rd mags) typical price now is around 319.00-so 375.00 (delivered) with 4 hi-caps (new with 2 still boxed) and a NIB 83 with round trigger guard-i have to say that rates as a pretty good deal!

Well, I guess for once I managed to buy at the right time. I am in WA State and my dealer did have them under $200 when I bought mine so it could have been one of the promotionals ut83 mentioned.  I haven't checked CZ83 prices lately but I guess I shouldn't be surprised they are where they seem to be now considering the quality of the gun and the price of everything else in the gunshop.

However, since I remember when gas under $.25/gallon (as low as $.10 during gas wars) I'm frequently surprised by prices these days.

Regards

Arcon, got it and you are correct it is in great shape. My FFL even mentioned how good it looked. What a sweet weapon, smooth does not describe it. Now to find a left handed holster for it.

Dennis Kroh seems to have found a couple of the older CZ-83's with round trigger guards, in NIB condition.

You would think that like the CZ75s..that the older '83s
would have better actions than the CZ-USA guns.

Not the case with my satin nickle '83. Thanks for shooting it soo much Eric!

email me..we will get you a new banner..the old one isn't
working.

LUVIN EVERY MINUTE OF IT!

Let me know if you find a suitable left-handed holster.  Just ordered a new CZ-83 .380 and will be needing one soon.

Post your reply so others can benefit as well.

Thanks!

Tristan

If you lefties want Kydex...call Bladetech, they will make you whatever you want, they are reasonable and a top quality holster.  I believe Falco holsters @ makarov.com has some lefties that work for the 83...not to sure though.  Worth looking into ...
