Title: I broke my magazine brake.

Hello all, I just bought a tristar p-120 recently. I was putting in a new hammer spring and broke the magazine brake in the process. I couldn't get it to come lose. It was stuck to the spring somehow. I was trying to wiggle it out with some force and the thin little catch broke. Anybody know where I can get a new one from. So disappointed. Thanks.

If the tip if the little tab on the bottom is still  there, it'll still work fine, and stay where it's supposed to. I clip those rounded ends off anyway for ease of reassembly.

I wouldn't worry about it either but there may be a better way to disassemble your next pistol. Did you take the pin all the way out of the spring cup? It needs to only come out 2/3 of the way at first. Then you can remove the mag brake. Then you can remove the pin the rest of the way.
