I bought a 97 BD, it is great gun, but it is simply too large to conceal well, and too heavy. So I put it up on consignment.
Up here in my area of Alaska we only have one gun store that routinely stocks CZs, and they don't have any 75 D PCR Compact in stock, nor have they seen one in years. I then go looking on internet and can't find anyplace that has any in stock.
Anyone know anything here? Dealers?
-
You're gonna just have to keep checking online until you find one, then buy it, because it won't last. I bought mine in DEC. from budsgunshop, and the next day, they were sold out for months! if you keep looking, you will find one.
-
I saw a used one today. It took all I had not to take it home with me. It's about 5th on the shopping list and I'm trying to take care of "needs" first...I have a feeling it's not going to work out well.
-
I ordered a new one last weekend at a lgs who are pretty big CZ dealers. They told me that it will be a while before the next shipment comes into the US. :(
-
Do you have to have it now? Gunbroker is your friend but you will pay a premium to get one now.
-
TechNetArmory.com has them in stock.
-
Grab a gun had some a month ago. I saw it before I had to go on a flight and purchased it before we launched. I didn't even get a confirmation email before I was out flying. You have to troll gun websites and jump on one when they are available. My next gun will be a Rami D so I will sit and wait... Like a ninja slider or something. Waiting for the prey to jump into my sights...
-
TechNetArmory.com has 1 left, but someone is in the process of buying it. Thanks for all of the inputs. Looks like a game of patience.
It has some REALLY nice features, one being that loaded chamber indicator up top. In the dark that really comes in handy. My 97BD has that, and I like it, ALOT.
-
TechNetArmory.com has them in stock.
Huh.... MSRP: 599.00 -- Our Price: 609.99
Not much difference, but usually I see prices below MSRP, but not above. ???
-
I got mine for $549 + $5 shipping. Keep shopping.
-
Just thought I'd chime in and say that I really like my PCR. It is a great shooting and very accurate pistol. The PCR and the sp01 are keepers for life
Keep your eyes open and the pistol will pretty much fall in your lap
-
After looking for a week or more I just found one online for $566 shipped after a 3% cc fee. That's a bit more than I wanted to pay and I guess I got the last one as they now show out of stock but it does show that patience pays off. Keep looking!
That being said - Wahooo, I should have a PCR by next week!!! Sorry, heheh.
-
I'm actually going to sell one of my PCR's, if you're interested. I bought a 2nd last year b/c it's a fantastic gun. But, I've come to realize I like owning a variety so I'm keeping one of each (next up is a P-07). If you're interested, let me know. I can email pics. I ran only one mag (14) of SD rounds (Winchester PDX1) and one box (50) of Magtech through it (zero issues). It has been in the safe ever since. I have an extra crossbreed supertuck for it that I'd include.
-
I ordered one from my lgs in January. He is a good guy and gave me a good price at $540 so I'll wait. This will be my first semi-auto carry gun and I wasn't able to hold or shoot one because nobody has one. I hope I made a good choice!

Hi, I just joined the forum and have been looking every where for a PCR! I love my SP-01 and my Rami but the PCR sounds like me!
I'd love to see pics etc. Cheers!

Found two on Gun Broker for 625-650

A word to the wise: get on the email watch list for the PCR at grabagun and gunbuyer. Grabagun has 5 of them right now for $540+ but they'll go quickly. Gunbuyer had some for about an hour yesterday. I almost regret not waiting - I would have missed the gunbuyer but the grabagun are still there. On the plus side, I'll have mine Thursday!

-
And now they are gone again lol let me know how you like the PCR!
-
One recommendation, and this has worked well for me, is to contact Damascus Gun Shop and get on their waiting list. They'll email you once the PCR is in stock, and you go through the normal transfer proceedings. They are very reasonable with pricing and shipping to US residents is free. Here's the link: http://www.damascusgunshop.com/category-s/112.htm
-
And now they are gone again lol let me know how you like the PCR!
You have to jump on these guns like white on rice when they are available.
-
Yeah, I think the trick is to get on some email waiting lists and be ready to pounce when they show up.
-
Just got notified yesterday that Grabagun had them in stock for $549. Went on their site and they showed two in stock. Scooped one right up and an hour later, they showed zero in inventory. Glad I checked my mail. 8)
-
I just got a call from my lgs. My PCR came in today. I should be picking it up in a few days. Woohoo! My first new handgun in 5 years!
-
I picked mine up today. Holy cow - it's so light! Compared to the full-size it feels like a poly gun. I got it all cleaned and lubed but I didn't have time to shoot it. I should be able to make time tomorrow. What a sweet piece!
-
I'm surprised with the demand for PCR's ,the price hasn't gone up! My brother's thinking of getting one,but he has zero patience, when it comes to waiting for a PCR to be in stock
-
I'm surprised with the demand for PCR's ,the price hasn't gone up!
Sshhhhh! ;) I was quietly thinking the same thing to myself. Picked mine up yesterday. Its just like everyone says. The ergonomics are perfect. I have yet to read a bad review on this gun. Now, to get to the range.
-
Found two over a 2 month span on Gunbroker. Just found a 75D Compact which is not a PCR. They are out there but you have to be quick. Must be because it's the ideal carry gun.
-
These appear to be PCRs.
http://www.czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=78071.0
-
TechNetArmory.com has the 75D in stock.
-
Just got a notification from riflegear.com. They have 1 PCR in stock for $549.
Better hurry! It will probably be gone by the time I finish typing this!!
Good luck.
-
They also show 4 P-01's in stock as well as more than 10 PCR's with 10 round magezines.
-
Good catch! keep in mind the p-01 are not the 2016 variety with the omega trigger and updated sights and hammer.
-
Damascus gun shop has the PCR in stock for 539 with free shipping
I bought my SP01 from them and they're a great retailer
-
Out of stock now
That was fast
-
Out of stock now

Yeah buddy! I received my email notification around 10:00AM that there were 5 in stock and by the time I went to their site around 2pm THERE WAS ONLY ONE LEFT! Panic!
Yes, I said WAS! Hopefully, my order logged in time -- there wasn't a notification when I placed my order that it was NOT in stock! But when I checked the sight right after my confirmation, they were GONE.
I feel like a kid on Christmas eve!
-
Nice!! You got the last one I'm sure!
I was tempted to buy another one but...my gut talked me out of it as finances are tight with a kid on the way.
On another note, I freakin LOVE my PCR! It is such a beautiful, accurate, ergonomic and sweet shooting pistol. I put some CZ Custom aluminum checkered grips on and man did it finish the look and thin the grip out.
I will never sell this one
:)

Still showing more than 5 in stock. But,they are 10 round mags.

Don't leave out the P-06 (I have all three), which surprisingly has turned out to be the jewel.
Just thought I'd chime in and say that I really like my PCR. It is a great shooting and very accurate pistol. The PCR and the sp01 are keepers for life

Hoosier Armory is showing them in stock. Doesn't say how many. They are the 91194's with 2 14 round mags. $549.
http://www.hoosierarmory.com/c-47-handguns.aspx?selection=187241&pagenum=2
-
Hoosier is where i got mine. That price is before adding the 3% CC fee. They shipped it quickly after my FFL uploaded his license.
I have to say, the PCR has really exceeded my expectations, which is saying something.

Hi,
I got mine from Ky Gun Co. a couple of weeks ago. What color trigger and barrel did you get? Mine is all black. I was expecting at least a silver colored trigger. Apparently, with CZ 75 date stamped 2016, it's like a box of chocolate - you wouldn't know what color trigger and barrel you're getting until you open it.
-
Got mine a couple of weeks ago from Grabagun. Trigger is the standard silver with serrations, but the barrel is black. Thought that was kinda odd. Don't care though... I got my PCR.
-

Did yours come with that rear sight? It looks like the rear sight they put on the steel framed compacts.

-
Yeah, black barrel, stainless trigger on mine. 2016 stamp. I didn't know they came any other way.
-
Would have been nice if I got silver finished barrel and trigger to match the stainless mag base plate. Oh well! ...but still, a real very fine pistol my PCR!
-
Interesting -- hodge podged PCRs. If they felt the need to build mine with a compact's rear sight on my soon to own PCR, then I hope they just installed the entire compact upper! I could use the absence of the round indicator and front serrations! I'd have bought a compact if it only had the alloy frame! Decocker is fine with me but so are the versions without it. I think the compact's slide is so much more sexy, but what the heck, this tool isn't for sex. 8)

Yes, a silver finished barrel, trigger, and grip screw with the matte stainless base plate would have been a perfect contrast to the black polycoat. But, that's another project to strip off the black coating of the trigger and barrel. Soon!
Check out my other post to see the base plates in this thread:

That matte plate with a wood grip would look sexy as hell on my new p-01 if I ever get it lol
-
Although he says is only fits the 16 mag not the 10, but the one I have is the 14 round so I wounder if it will even fit
-
Yes, it does fit on both 16 and 14 rounder CZ 75B and D mags with the stock flat metal butt plate. You may remove the stock polymer base plate if the mag comes with it.

...and out of stock now, I was going to order one but I'd prefer to get one with factory 14's. Besides my recent order with impact, they sent my guns to an abandoned old address of my FFL. It was a giant headache.
Edit, this seller had 10 of the 14 round versions and a handful of the 10 round versions today.

just a general fyi: I would not rule out: checking out and finding a great conditioned used Isreali CZ75 compact. ( I just found one in a large pile of HARD used CZ pistols) tightest pistol I have ever seen.. period. runs like a champ! eats everything.. and extremely accurate.. just my .003 (inflation).
cheers,

Howdy
Here in MN, two local shops have it in stock (They both will ship to a LGS near you)
1. http://www.dkmags.com - has it for $600
2. http://www.southwest-arms.com/ doesn't list there price but I paid $600 for mine from them a few weeks ago.
Good luck and I hope this helps.
-
Very accurate at the range and best fit for my hand! Btw, I have replaced the grips from the CZC coco bolo wood to aluminum. It looks better, I think, with the aluminum.

https://www.anacortesgunshop.com/cz-75-d-compact-9mm-rail-decocker-rail-14rd-141104
Anacortes currently has 686 in stock, but be advised that these are versions with a light rail. You can tell from the UPC of 806703990033 and SKU of HK-CZ 99003. The standard PCR without the light rail is SKU 91194 (http://cz-usa.com/product/cz-75-d-pcr-compact-black-alloy-9mm-14-rd-mags/). Might make a difference - 99003 is basically a P01.
-
So, does it have the loaded chamber indicator, sights, and serrated trigger like the PCR without rail?

This is a little confusing, but, I don't think the picture and description on the Anacorte sight is accurate. I found a CZ 99003 on GunsAmerica, https://www.gunsamerica.com/Listings/ItemDescriptionPage.aspx?listingId=988804714& with a picture of what looks like a P-01 but stamped 75D Compact. And the description lists it as a steel frame at 2.03 lbs. So, is it a steel framed P-01?
-
Impactguns.com had them in Stock yesterday. Think the p-01 was in Stock too. Just FYI if anyone was still looking

Cabela's Hamburg PA just advertised P-01s for sale [CZ75 compact was pictured in ad]
I think the price was $649.
Just in case you want a rail.
It seems Gander Mountain has been the better place for me to find CZs.

The website rarely matches inventory. The ad was in a paper flier I got in the mail. I'm quite certain the text was for the compact P-01.
The 75d was pictured, I forgot to check the rear sight to see if it was a PCR.

Why the remorse?
II just realized today that the pistol won't fit any roles I have designated for it. I already have most bases covered with my P-02 and my PCR will sit in the safe not doing anything for... Well, ever. I also want a .22lr can so that might be pushing me away from it.
-
Unless you're looking for a .22 rifle, put the Kadet adapter on the Pcr and sell the upper.
All the CGW stuff can be used, just have to use around a 17# hammer spring minimum.
Just an idea.
-

I am going to be making a .22 suppressor host gun, probably a 22/45. The PCR has been on my list for a while, but it doesn't do anything that my current guns don't already do. I would get a lot more use out of the 22/45 than I would out of this. It is a shame to have it sit when someone else could be enjoying it.
-
Ahh, makes more sense now.
Well like you said, you probably can't get all your money out of it. But, since it's new, you may be able to get most of your money back by turning it back to stock. You'll probably only lose a little in the pistol, and can make most of your money back selling the CGW parts separately on here.

Trade it to my stock PCR and then you won't have to worry about the CGW parts anymore...... ;)

It's the same place from Gunbroker.com - D&L Supplies from Warwick ,RI. I have bought from them 3 CZs (PCR, Compact, P-01 OD Green). They have a bunch of CZs in stock. Better calling them directly than thru auction sites.

I went the slow route and ordered one from my LGS to save on shipping and transfer fees. It took two months but I finally got it last week. I love it! Put 200 rounds of 8 different ammo types through it the other day without a hiccup. Was accurate too. This is my 3rd CZ but first CZ pistol but probably not my last LOL!

Shipment just came in last week at CZ. I changed my order for a CZ75 Compact with manual safety for a PCR as they and the P01 just came in. I had been waiting for almost 2 months and was tired of waiting.
