Just saw these at CDNN, seems like a good price for CZ magazines, $19.99 @CDNN: https://www.cdnnsports.com/cz-75-85-15rd-9mm-polished-blue-magazine-oem.html (https://www.cdnnsports.com/cz-75-85-15rd-9mm-polished-blue-magazine-oem.html)

The same mags are only .96 more at Greg Cote LLC. , but his shipping on 2 mags is only $6.95, while CDNN's is $9.99.
But, they're on 'special' at CDNN, while that's Cote's normal, everyday price.

After reading the shipping policies at Greg Cote, I will never be buying from them. CZ-USA, Brownell's, and a whole bunch of others will ship here, but GC refuses to ship legal products into C(r)ook County IL.

Bummer.  But I do believe that he had to pack his bags and move his business from a similar anti-gun regime/location.  I respect that he has principles.  This reminds me of Barrett, if I'm not mistaken banning sales and service to LE in government controlled entities that would refuse normal citizens use of, for instance 50BMG.  You could think that, "for shame -- why cripple LE"?  Or perhaps you could consider it a message to the Elitists in government positions and their SUBJECTS that perhaps change needs come from the bottom up.

I live in Chicago, and while I'm also not happy I can't get standard capacity mags from him, I reserve my ire for the people who truly deserve it: my corrupt city government. I can't blame a small businessman for not wanting to risk his livelihood on an uncertain market, especially given my city's reputation. FUD works for a reason.

For those who don't know: all handgun regulations are now the sole domain of the Illinois state government, which has lifted all magazine capacity limits as part of the same act which legalized concealed carry three years ago. However, that has not stopped numerous localities (like Chicago) from passing its own laws limiting capacity, even though they are explicitly forbidden to do so.

So we have unenforceable laws on the books which directly contradict the state laws which explicitly preempt it. Even though standard cap mags are absolutely legal in Cook County, but I can't expect a retailer to wade through the morass of FUD to figure that out. We have the same issue with numerous online ammo retailers.

I totally agreed!  Here at the Peoples Republic of Komifornia we are limited to 10 rnds mags.  Nevermid the "Handgun safe" roster and the approved rifles that does not considered as Assault weapons.  Yeah, within the cities are trying to impose even worst restrictions.  Everyting is because the don't want to have the law abiding citizens to have the means to defend themselves.  The funny thing is that If you are LEO, you don't have such restrictions.

NW Indiana is just 45 min from downtown and we are much more fun friendly over here. Well that's unless you believe the big O, and we are the cause of all Chicago's gun problems.
