Looking for as much info as I can possibly get on a waffen marked cz38 with no serial numbers. I am having a difficult time finding any info, I have a pair that I got from a friend who got them twenty years ago. Please any info would be great

I assume you are reffering to a waffenamt (WaA) ? The number should tell you who, when & where the pistol was accepted for service in the Reich armed forces.
-
Post a couple good pictures of them, there are a few people on here that will be able to help identify.

How do I post a picture from my phone? I don't have a picture hosting sight

Easiest way with a smartphone is to use the Tapatalk app. You download right from your photo library using the app. Looking forward to seeing it.

I hate to tell you, but all the ones actually used will NOT have ANY markings. You can see if you have the real deal by taking the grips off. See if there are letters there. Get back to me and I can confirm. If you have a letter B. its real. However B series are poorly made and EXTREMELY dangerous to shoot. Would love to find out what you have?? Let me know, I have the German serial code assignments so I will gladly look them up for you.

(http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160422/3ce4f1f40348562703f6e4d3fa04aeb5.jpg). The mystery deepens, both pistols are identical in patina, and were bought together, one is marked with a B the other is not.

From my list of maker codes here it is:
WaA76 German WW-II Heerswaffenamt inspector's mark on arms produced at Waffenwerk Brunn, Brno, Czechoslovakia
-
As I read, the earliest ones inspected by the Germans after capturing Czechoslovakia had Waffenamts WaA76, but once they started building them in earnest, none had the Waffenamts, as the concept was approved..My mid-War CZ-38 is 270,xxx Serial & has no Waffenamt, but is an experimental pistol. I say that because it is DA/SA by design & NOT DAO....The Czechs were such good gunsmiths & masters of metallurgy that the Germans accepted and deployed tens of thousands of CZ-24 Pistols without ever Waffenamting those! Once the Germans were running things, they marked the CZ-27's with WaA76.....DesertDave

There is an a identical one near me for sale. Like the others stated as per the few Czech books, especially Know your Czech pistols, there are only 2 that are nazi. one in the 25-27,000 range (id have to look to be exact) The other has a B prefix or a B letter under grips. The B prefix ones are of very late make and tend to have mechanical problems or be made with refurbished parts that were sent to the factory then sent out. Unfortunately some guys who had real Nazi pistols decided to roll mark them to help sell them as no one would believe otherwise. So what you have is one real one that someone roll marked to try and get more money for it. I can direct you to a picture of the one for sale if you are interested. I also have a lot of info on the 38 if you need any other help.
