Was at range today with my newer CZ 83 and Rami. After about two magazines through the 83, I started having FTF problems. I've ran probably a 100 rounds through it on previous trips to range. Ammo was just regular whitebox winchester. I stripped it down to clean when I got home and noticed the crack.
Pretty disappointed to say the least. Anyone ever had warranty work done and how did it go with CZ?
thanks.

It's supposed to look like that. The "crack" is the seam between the press-fit barrel and feed ramp.

Really? sure looks like a crack and I would think it would affect feeding. I guess I never noticed it before.

Send that pic to CZ and see what they say.

Just finished sending to their warranty dept. I'll let ya know what they say.

Andy at CZ promptly responded to my email and confirmed what ya'll said that it was supposed to be like that. Boy do I feel foolish! :-[

What magazines were you using when it started to FTF?

I neglected to check that. I bought 2 additional mags from Greg Cote. I was thinking they were CZ mags as I cringed at price I paid. I'll have to go to range again and test all 4 mags

The "CZ mfg" stamped on base plate are aftermarket, and are NOT CZ. They are not reliable. If you put a CZ follower and factory mag spring, they work better.
