Title: Finally part of the Cool Kids Club
Post by: pewpew4life on April 27, 2016, 08:19:34 AM
Got my Accu Shadow Target Custom in today. All I can say is "AMAZING". That trigger is just so smooth and sexy. I thought the trigger on my Sig Sauer 226 X5 Competition was good. But this CZ blows it out of the water. No comparison. I can't wait to get to the range and start practicing so I can use the Accu Shadow in my next USPSA match in a couple of weeks. Anyone have Holster recommendations? I'm leaning towards the Blade tech Black Ice.

Took it out to the range today and ran some El Presidente drills. Very impressed with this gun so far. Can't wait for my USPSA match in a couple of weeks.

Any advice on grips? I'm thinking either some VZ diamond backs or something along those lines. Or some scale grips. I have some VZ grips on my 1911, so I know what to expect from them. Anyone have any experience with the scale grips?

I find the CZCustom AL Thick Aggressive Checker very affective for competitive and hunting use.

How aggressive are those grips? I like aggressive. The VZ grips I have on my 1911 are prefect. I felt like knowing that my gun will not move from my hands.

They are more aggressive than these VZ Diamond Backs on my P01

Are the VZ Diamond backs not that aggressive? I thought they were pretty much the most aggressive grips they made for the CZ. Or are those CZ grips just more aggressive than the Diamond Back?

Well, I think you're correct, in that the VZ Diamond Back are VZ's most aggressive model for CZ's.
The CZC Thick AL checkered "Lemon Grater" grips have more bite.
I hunt wearing gloves. These grips when used with gloves are like duct tapping the pistol into my hand.
Barehanded is tolerable. I shoot IDPA with no issues.
