If you have purchased a Scorpion in 2016, there is a good chance that your trigger pack has the dreaded "welded screw". We would like to circulate TWO drill bits so that forum members looking to install 922r components or other trigger pack parts can get their welded screws removed with as little effort as possible. The only rule in this game is that once you take possession of a drill bit, you are expected to use it in a timely manner and cover the cost of shipping to the next person in line.
Please just post with what number in line you are (ie: "I need the drill #1", "I need the drill #2").
Here is a link to the actual drill bit, there is a video too: https://hbindustries.net/store/shop/carbide-drill-for-scorpion-trigger-pack/
Thanks!
06/30/16 - Please note that when shipping these between users they need to be packaged fairly well... maybe a small flat rate USPS box or a large mailer envelope with a lot of padding. Here is the reason:
Carbide is VERY HARD, but also VERY BRITTLE. It is not a coating or metal treatment, it is a type of material. It might help to think of other materials like glass, ceramic, or porcelain; obviously not quite the same, but the principle of "hard but brittle" still applies. The bits that we use and are recommending have a carbide tip on them, the shank is steel. So, if they are dropped or hammered on, the tip could crack/break just like a ceramic coffee cup. The reason for the steel shank is that it is not brittle, and allows for mis-alignment and does provide the flex needed when using a hand drill. Again, imagine trying to drill a hole with a glass drill bit... if not held perfectly straight the bit would shatter. So, these bits are combining the properties of steel and carbide to give us a tool that works very well for this application.

That's awesome! Rock and roll, guys, and a BIG thank you to HBi!!!
-
You beat me to it! I was thinking about doing the same thing this morning. As soon as my FFL gets my scorpion the first thing I was going to check was for the weld and order the bit. Planned on posting this same idea when I was finished as your website suggests paying it forward. Now that's customer service!
-
I have a couple 3/16 carbide bits I would be willing to add to this as well. I used it on the NASA gorilla weld that was on mine!
-
That's very generous of you. I have the HBI spring and trigger but the drill bit was out of stock at the time. I would like to use the drill bit and have no problem covering shipping to whomever needs it.
-
Email me your address to spearjunkie@yahoo.com and I'll get it out tomorrow or today I should say.
-
Will do and again thank you kindly. It is much appreciated.
-
I would like to get in line for the drill bit as well. I just received my new HBI trigger, spring kit.
I need the drill #2

Rogueshot - Drill shipped and tracking info emailed. Thanks!
Still have one more of these if anyone else needs to drill some trigger pack welds :-)

I'll borrow the second one if you still have it.
-
funkeruski - One drill bit heading your way! PM'd you tracking :-)

I'd like to get in line as well if possible for #3. Just picked up my Scorpion (first CZ anything) yesterday and wanting to go ahead and start tinkering. Is there any videos out there that shows you how to do it besides the HB one?
-
funkeruski - One drill bit heading your way! PM'd you tracking :-)

I got the bits in the mail today and got the weld drilled out and the springs and trigger shoe replaced, thank you! Whoever needs them next, email me at dhenry360@gmail.com to continue the pay it forward theme I will send a brand new trigger pack screw. The only thing I ask is that if you don't need it, please pass it on to the next person who might.

Received the bit today, and drilled mine out. Sending to Jwangster tomorrow.
-
I'm now on the list. Please send the drill bit my way once it is free.
-
I'd like to get in the queue. My HBI springs arrived the same day my FFL received the Scorpion for transfer. :)
-
I had my name on the last page but never heard anything so I'm still in need of one when they come available.

Let's make this easy. Who has a drill bit right now?

Here is a list of the next in line based on what I found going through the thread:
The_Tonka
rbgonoles (not sure if Dhenry360 sent to him or not)
Greankrayon
Suppressed
Just copy and paste to a new post and add your name to the end to get in line.
When someone with the drill bit sends it out to the next person in line, that person (the sender) will copy and paste the last list to a new post and delete the first person's name (the one they just sent the drill bit to).
-
Dhenry360 sent me tracking. I'll send to the next up as soon as I get it and use.

Crap! Sorry guys. I am holding up one of the two bits. I was out of town for work a few days. Got home grabbed a properly sized allen wrench and promptly stripped the trigger pack screw under the trigger guard. Needle nose vise grips will not even budge it. I suspect excessive locktite and over torqueing are at play....sigh. Will try a few more tricks this wknd to get it out so that I can use the bit and get it sent on by Monday.
-
The other side of that bolt head is where you need to drill so if you didn't drill the button off first, you need to do that or you will never get that screw out.
-
Sent my trigger assembly down to Shooters Element.
Taylor is going to drill it out the screw and send it back with a bit lighter trigger pull.
Will be interesting to see how the HBI springs lighten it.
Bought to many toys lately to consider the CZ Custom trigger.
I like the looks of the Shooters Element trigger and charging handle.
Taking my name off the list.
Looks like we are down to one.

Ive been lurking for about a week. My scorp is arriving this Friday along with all the upgrade parts frim HBI. I confirmed with the seller that it has that dang weld, so I'd like to get in line!

holy crap...I am an idiot...I watched the videos quite a few weeks ago and completely spaced on the fact that I was drilling out the bolt that I just stripped@!....for some reason I was thinking that I had to remove the trigger group and then drill.....I will get to drilling ASAP and get that bit out to the next guy.
thank you!!!

Happens to the best of us. At least the screw is readily available once you do get it out of there. ;)

I think one is inbound to me from rbgonoles.
-
I have one. I messaged Crzymac earlier today to see if he still needs it.
-
This is a great thread and glad I was able to help out by donating a bit to help everyone out. Let's keep it going so no one has to wait to fix the trigger pack. Great job by everyone so far!
-
Got impatient and drilled out without it. My weld wasn't too bad though so it was easy work :) 2 minutes or so and I've got a new trigger!

I sent The_Tonka my info. I'll drill mine out as soon as I receive the bit.

Well I tried these so called Titanium bits (Maybe its coated) and nothing happened for 15 minutes with only a small dip on the puddle of the weld. I've noticed the nut inside the trigger pack moves, guessing y'all used a very skinny vice grip? oh and I'll put my name on the list.... =/

There is no nut in the trigger pack, just the welded on collar. Drill through it until it pops off the screw and you should be good to go; no vice grips required.

Gotcha yea the collar spins with the screw when I tried to see if I could break the weld if I did it hard enough. But I stopped before I could strip something. I'll just wait for the bit lol

Okay, I got the bits today and got that fool collar drilled out.
I think I got the bits that originated with Spearjunkie. There's two 3/16" bits and one 1/4" bit. (I used one of the 3/16" bits to drill mine out.) Is the consensus that we should keep the three bits together? Separate the 3/16" bits to cover more folks?
05k20z1, I think you're up next assuming KS_Dan is covered by rogueshot. Just PM me your mailing address.

I have one that I'll also add to the list so people can get it done quicker.
Only thing is after we are all done with passing it around I would like it back.
So if someone wants to use it then I'm more then willing to send it just have to send it back or to someone else with the pretense of them getting it back to me.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news however, I received the drill bit (quite worn I might add). After getting about half way through the project the drill bit tip snapped off..... >:( Not my first rodeo with power tools... But bleep! I suppose my best course of action at this point is to order another drill bit from HBI and add it back into the forum mix. Apologies to all that were waiting on this bit.

I had sent a couple carbide out and who ever has them can split them up. I am assuming the bit that broke was the one HBI sent out?
-
No, the bit I broke was received from Glockcrazz. I've ordered a new bit from HBI last night, but obviously have not gotten it yet.
-
Hi Guys, first off way to go! Everyone in this thread has done a great job of communicating and sharing these bits. Big thank you to Kenneth and SpearJunkie too for adding their bits into the mix.
Please note that when shipping these between users they need to be packaged fairly well... maybe a small flat rate USPS box or a large mailer envelope with a lot of padding.
Again, imagine trying to drill a hole with a glass drill bit... if not held perfectly straight the bit would shatter. So, these bits are combining the properties of steel and carbide to give us a tool that works very well for this application.
We are still on our first bit here, it has removed easily 30+ welded screws/collars. My suspicion is that getting banged around in the mail might have caused the bit that Vee12 used to micro-fracture and ultimately break? Not sure? We are getting more details from Vee12 now. Just figured it would be worth mentioning more info on the carbide/steel combo to be safe.
-
All I can say is WOW! I order a new bit from HBi to take the place of the one that broke. Since it broke in my care, I would just buy a new one and put it into the forum rotation. Then, HBi contacts me, I send them some pics, and they refund my purchase! That is serious customer service and speaks volumes about their commitment to the Scorpion platform and our forum, as well as the high quality of HBi products. Thanks again HBi.
-
I just received the new drill bit in today's mail from HBi. I'll be happy to mail it out to the next person in line as soon as the Postal Service gets back to work on Tuesday. PM me.

I ordered an HBi drill bit a couple of days ago (along with a bunch of other doo-dads). Should be here next week.
As soon as I get done drilling mine out, I'm happy to throw it in the rotation. How do I know who's next in line?
-
Not so much of a "line" as is a pm me your address for the drill bit. That's what I get from the thread.
-
Any updates on drill bits? Thanks.

I'm done with the bit I purchased from HBi, so I'll toss it into the rotation and y'all can get some use out of it too.

Hey guys, Sorry i have had one of the bits for so long. I live just outside of Baton Rouge, and even though i did not flood, work has been rather hectic the last 12 days. I should be able to finally drill out the weld today. Who ever needs it next pm me and i will try and get it out to you tomorrow. Again, sorry about the delay.
-
Ship drill bit to calimstng66. Thanks again to JohnnyGeek for donating the drill bit.
-
To bt4lsu : All the best to you and yours.
-
Thanks Arachnid, luckily i was not personally flooded, but there are thousands that were.
-
SV325, I will try and get the bit your way tomorrow.
-
SV325, bit is on the way. check pm
-
Would love to stand in line for a bit. Shot mine for the first time and really want to help this trigger. Thanks.
-
I'm ready to send out the drill bit if you send me a pm. The one I received did not have the black guard on it so I just wrapped with some tape. Unfortunately I wasn't able to drill my welded trigger out. In trying to do so, I ended up scratching the trigger pack housing and small amounts of the polymer. The hex screw is also now stripped. I spent hours trying to get the thing off but it just wouldn't work. I guess at this point I'll just have to wait for the trigger swap (whenever that'll be).

I'm on the waiting list for the replacement trigger pack. If I used the bit tonrenove the weld, will I need to get a replacement trigger screw?

It wouldnt hurt to get a new one IMO. Some seem "ok" after drilling and some I would replace. I would rather have a new one and make sure its back together properly from the get go...
-
I would love to get in on the waiting list for a bit. Been waiting on a new trigger pack from Cz for awhile now. Anyone get a replacement yet? Thanks in advance.

The bits have stopped circulating. I can only track one and it hasn't moved in 12 days.
The posts are vague and it's hard to know who sent a pm to who. I sent a couple pm's but I really am not sure who had which bit last.
-
I responded to BucketShop, but I'm not sure if he got my PM. On the 18th snohomishcz sent me a PM asking for my address, so he could ship me the bit. I sent it to him. A few days later on the 20th I got another email asking for my address, so I responded again thinking snohomishcz didn't get my first response. I didn't realize until BucketShop contacted me today that the second PM was from Mk23 and not snohomishcz. So, theoretically I should have two of them, but I have none. I looked into my "Sent" message folder and it's completely empty. It doesn't even show the one that I sent to BucketShop. I'm not sure if anyone got any of the messages I sent to them. If they did not, then the bits should still be with snohomishcz and Mk23. If they both (ore even one) show up here on some date I will pass them along after I use it. Hope this helps.
-
Thanks I got your pm but I'm not sure all the pm's I sent actually were. I did not see MK23. snohomishcz, Manny C and SV325 were the last people I could spot having bits. A couple of those guys have <5 posts and haven't logged into the forum in weeks.
I asked on the Facebook Scorpion group as some people are members of both.
-
I'm sending the bit to Warpspasm...... It might take a few days it's literally going coast to coast
-
I'm in Washington state
-
Take me off the list. Was able to remove the collar w/ some bits I had. Thanks anyway!
-
BucketShop, Read the posts again, it clearly show in there that I sent the bit to calimstng66, and he sent it to transger2, then transger2 sent it to Gritz.......... Don't know what you are trying to assume or portray us to be by saying with have less than 5 post and not log on for weeks, I don't like that.
-
My apologies Manny, your post was immediately under another one that said who gets it next? Your post said Ship bit to calimstng66. That sounded more like instructions to the previous poster. I would have understood Sent or Shipped differently, but I see how you feel differently.
It was not my initial intention to mention any names and I am sorry I did. Apologies to anyone who took offense. I also understand that being surrounded by the Louisiana flood complicates life terribly and my best wishes for that member who was affected.
I NO LONGER need the drill bit but there are others that do. I think it's tremendous that HBI donated these bits, as did one other member, and that they are circulating through the community.
Again, my apologies and God Bless.
-
Please put me on the list for the drill bit.
I have been dicking around with the POOR customer service at CZ-USA waiting for their trigger swap program to get off of the ground since early May.
Thanks.
-
Please put me down for the drill bit sharing. Thank you for doing this!
-
snohomishcz, did you actually have a chance to drop it into the mail stream? It still hasn't arrived as of today. If you mailed it on the 24th it should have been here by now..
-
The bit came in the mail today. I worked on taking out the weld, but so far, no luck. The bit will barely cut the metal. I've been working at it for at least 40 minutes and the weld is still intact. It took forever to even get it to make a dimple, and now there's a cup in there, but I feel like it's rubbing the steel off as opposed to cutting it. I've been oiling to keep it cool, but I think this thing must have gotten dull or something. Do carbide bits get dull? I'm not sure what to do at this point.
-
This thing is driving me nuts. I STILL haven't been able to drill through to the point of breaking the weld. Has anybody else had this problem? I probably have 20 minutes of actual drill to weld time at this point. I thinking the bit may be too dull, but having never used a carbide bit to drill a hardened weld I don't know.
-

You are using the exact bit I used before SNO. I took a bit of time, but no more than 5 minutes of drilling. It is possible that the bit is nearing the end of its peak cutting time. I did have to apply a bit more straight downward pressure than it suggested, but it seemed fine. Once you get a nice dimple in the weld, you can try to break it free with some needle nose pliers around the head of the screw because the bolt may strip as it is pretty soft. I did replace my screw with one from Lowes.

I've come to the conclusion that this bit is completely spent. I just spent another 10 minutes drilling and it's not even cutting anymore. I have a really big dimple now, but it still won't break loose. Crap. I'm willing to pass this bit along, but I think it will only be a frustration to the next user as well. Maybe HB will chime in here. I sent them a message on their site.

It sounds from the latest posts that the bits, (one or both) are now worn out. Please take my name off the mailing list. I suppose that I will likely attempt using the older method(s) described in the HB Industries videos.
IMO, this entire welded trigger box nonsense foisted on we mere consumers of CZ-USA products is leaving a bad taste in my mouth. The customer (dis)service group at CZ-USA should be aware that the best (or worst) advertising is by word-of-mouth. This is my first CZ product purchased, though it is not my first firearm purchase. I have been treated much better by other firearms companies. This company behavior will certainly be a factor in my next firearm purchase or brand recommendation.

First off; 11 pages in and things seem to be still flowing well, hats off to everyone in this forum for being courteous, organized, and professional in using and transferring these drills around. In viewing the last couple pages... here is what the list looks like right now:
BucketShop
Warpspasm
Boomer1
Pointcover
We can't comment on the condition of the drill bits that are circulating, we obviously have not seen any of them during the last 5 months. There are members on other forums/facebook using "pay it forward" campaigns, and in many cases one user will drill out several trigger packs in one sitting. So it is difficult for us to know the number of welds drilled or how the tooling was used each time. However, if the drills are removing material from the welds, then they are functioning correctly. The amount of pressure and speed at which material is removed will of course be operator dependent. If our bits are not removing material at all or just spinning and making heat, then we need to get them replaced.
Warpspasm - If you could please email us at sales@hbindustires.net with your contact info we will send you a fresh bit to try. Over the last few months we have seen Scorpions (particularly the carbines) coming in with MUCH more secure welds. This means they are being welded hotter, deeper, and with more filler material than we saw earlier in the year. So, center punching is now a must, and yes drilling down to the sheetmetal trigger housing is required in many cases (be careful, measure three times drill once).

I think that the drill method looks like a cleaner method of removal. IMO

FANTASTIC customer service.
I ordered a spring pack, screw pack and trigger from you guys on Friday night (EST), so there's a chance you haven't shipped that yet and can put the bit in with those items.
My carbine is obviously one of the ones that has the tougher, deeper weld. It looks like the center of the drilled hole might be down to the sheet metal now, or at least very close. But, the bit has stopped removing material and only the very tip of the bit got that far. It looks the only thing happening now is the deepest part is getting polished.

Agree, HB does have great customer service. It seems that we are thinking along similar lines. I was also going to pick up a new drill bit. However, as of Sunday night, HB is out of stock.

When I get the new bit from HBi and finish my job, who is next in line for the bit?

From the list that HBi compiled, boomer1 is next in line.

Boomer1, if you still want it please PM me your address and I'll get it out to you was soon as I get it and have a chance to drill mine out.

Thanks Warpspasm, a buddy of mine with a Dremel, and some diamond bits, stopped by and we made short work of that weld. Please scratch me off of the list.
Thanks, and good luck with your weld removal.

I'd like to be added to the list. Thanks.

I'm brand new here, but Id like to be added to the list. Check ls1tech for my name for trader feedback and comments if you need them :)

Well the new carbide bit from HB Industries arrived today and my suspicions were correct. The old bit was plum wore out. The new bit finished what was left of the job in about 10 seconds max. I will be sending the bit to Pointcover this weekend, so the next in line after him should be getting a PM from him not too long after that. Let's keep this thing moving. Thanks HBi.

Roger that. Email received and responded to. Thank you Sir.

I dropped the bit in the mail today for Pointcover. He should have it by Tuesday. I forgot that there is no delivery on Monday, or he would get then. Whoever is next in line should contact him so we can keep the bit moving along.
By the way, the other bit was DEFINITELY worn out. The new bit I got from HBi finished what was left of the job in about 10 seconds at the most.

My HBI springs came in. I couldn't wait and just used my regular drill bits. I went thru 3 bits before I finally broke through the weld. Wow that little weld is tough.
Thanks anyway, but please take me off the list.
It's now just Ruddogg.

I'd like to use this on my EVO pistol if it's still available. Please pm me for address, thanks.

shipped off to flyingbug
just FYI though, I think the drill bit is getting dull. Definitely took a LOT longer than the 5 mins in the HBI video. took 2 Sat mornings at about 1+ hrs each...maybe more... unless I was doing something wrong.

You weren't doing anything wrong. I had the previous bit and it was so dull it never did get through the weld. HBi sent me a new one which is in circulation now. I sent the dull one back to them so they could look at it. Not sure which one you used.
-
@flyingbug - if the drill bit that you receive does not seem to be removing material from the welded collar (ie: it spins, but does not make chips) please let us know. You can PM here through the forum, or send us at email sales@hbindustries.net. We will get you taken care of.
The welded screws earlier this year were not bad at all, but around July we started seeing the carbines first, then the pistols too, having really hot deep welds. They still seem to be coming in that way, and like others in this thread can attest to, you will likely have to drill practically all the way through the collar/screw, almost until you think you are about to hit the topside of the sheetmetal trigger housing. These welded screws are a pain, but totally worth it once you get the new trigger parts in. You can do it!
-
Yes, I had trouble drilling out the weld. Don't know if the blades are dull or not. Took me a good 2 hours to get it off eventually. I have a pistol and seems it has a pretty deep weld as you described. Check out the picture. Let me know if you want me to send it back. Thank you for your generosity. HBI trigger spring kit and safty selector are awesome. Keep up the great work.

@flyingbug - Well done! That is a perfectly executed screw removal job. It should not have taken 2 hrs though, definitely sounds like that drill bit is toast. Please go ahead and just hang onto it, no need to spend more money shipping it around. We will keep an eye on this thread and send the next person in need a new bit.
So, list is open, next person willing to pay it forward gets to use a new drill bit. Here is the list:

For those not on the list of just impatient like me, Home Depot has a 3/16 Hard Steel bit at most stores that works for this job. took me literally 10 seconds to drill out the weld with this Bit. for $3.

You had better luck than I did. I tried the Cobalt bit from Home Depot and after about 20 minutes it barely made a dimple in the weld.
-
received the drill bit from b_cole. Ill drill it out by this weekend..
-
Can I get added to the list, please?

Pls take me off the list. I was able to drill it out myself.

Are there still multiple bits floating around, or is it just down to the one?
-
Not sure if there is more than one. But, the one I had I mailed out to Tiny last week.
-
I need the drill #204?
I don't know if that is the correct number.
-
Please take me off the list. Burned out a couple non-carbide bits, and it wasn't pretty, but it's out.
-
Can I get in on this?
-
Never mind. I got it.
-
I hope this is still going a around I live out in Alaska
-
If the list isn't too long, I'm interested in joining it
-
I don't know who is in charge of this list, but I went ahead and ordered the bit from HBI, and drilled mine out today. So now I have a bit to pass on to others. I also have a replacement machine screw, since this drilling process tends to booger up the stock screw. Contact me and we can make arrangements.
By the way, the HB bit chews through that weld like butter. I tried a HSS bit and it was a real
PITA. The old saying applies, "Right tool for the right job"
-
If one of these are still available I would greatly appreciate the use of one of these! Thank you!
-
If one is available I would like to borrow a bit for the welded trigger pack screw.
Thank You!

If anyone has questions or needs help on getting their welded screw taken care of, I've done dozens of these for my customers and I'm happy to help.
Holler at me if you have questions (I don't mind sharing tips I've picked up along the way).

I just got two sets of springs from HBi, and would like to be a part of this movement. :o
-
Reviving this thread a bit... New drill bit in transit to FightClub now. We also included a handful of replacement screws :-)
-
HBi = AWESOME!
-
Just signed up here, didn't see this thread and I bought all my upgrades from HBI, but everytime I was on the site the drill bit kit was out of stock, and when I finally got the email it already said out of stock again. I ended up buying the trigger pack hardware kit that comes with the bolt you need to replace, since that is always in stock.
So if anyone needs a drill bit real quick that doesn't like waiting, or isn't even a member here seeing this thread, Go to Home Depot. Cheap and comes with 2. Took 10 seconds for the bolt head to come right off. No damage at all to anything

sort of a random question, but I did the HBI trigger spring kit a few weeks ago, I wanted to see if maybe I just got lucky or some thing is/was wrong but the little torx screw that needs to be drilled out was not welded in mine, and it looked like the end of the screw inside the trigger pack was some plastic/glue like substance on the end of it that was cone shaped? I just used a longer torx screw driver that I had and it came undone with minimal effort. I put the screw back in place after the trigger kit was installed and it tightened right up it seems. The metal pack that the screw goes into only has a few threads on it. but everything seems tight..

You got lucky and received one that didn't have a welded nut on it.

My pistol I just got wasnt welded either, my Carbine I got in 2016 was the weld from hell.

Yep - just got my pistol a month ago and discovered that it didn't have the welded screw either

Just got mine and it appears to have been existing inventory - I have the forsaken welded trigger screw. About stripped it before I remembered this was a thing. Anyone have one of those drill bits floating around that could be shipped? I have an HBi trigger and spring pack with no way to get it in :(
-
Confession time: HBi sent me the new drill bit, and some extra screws. When I was getting ready to sell my house, they ended up in storage. I have them available now, if anyone still needs them.
-
I could use the drill bit set, PM sent.
-
Check your PM. :)
-
If this is still going I could use a carbide bit
-
JWangster should have the short bit and extra screws.
-
Thanks fight club, out of curiosity have a lot of you guys chosen to just snap that little bolt and put a new one in? I?d rather do it the right way and drill it out since it?s less destructive but if it doesn?t work out or something happens I?d like to know I?ve got this fallback JIC
-
Originally, you had to drill out the screw from inside the trigger pack. That was a pain. HBi provided a bit that works much better from the trigger guard. You just run it through the hole in the bottom of the trigger guard that lines up with the screw head. It goes right through the hex end of the screw, and basically drills out the screw body. Sounds scary, but it's just the right size for a clean job. A new screw comes with the bit too. I ended up with a 3rd Scorpion (2nd pistol), so I may take photos when I do the next one. But JWangster should comment on his experience too. I find it's helpful to hear from total novices to old pros.
-
Thats awesome I must?ve missed that in this thread somewhere
-
So this was my third scorpion that I tried to drill out. I?m not sure why, but the weld seemed much harder than the ones previously. Eventually I gave up trying the old way and went from inside the trigger guard. Unfortunately, the pay it forward bit broke at that point before the screw would pop free. I?ve ordered a replacement bit that I can send out to whomever needs it, but at this point I?ve gone to the replacement trigger pack that CZ sent me and modified my mags to ensure they drop-free.

It seems as though this thread (and the need for a bit) is winding down. As a July 2016 beneficiary of HBi's kindness I wanted to thank them again AND tip the hat to all the members of this forum who have shown a tremendous amount of faith, commitment and trust in each other throughout this process. Kudos to all.

I will be getting mine next month and not sure if it?s a welded pack or not, if so I?ll come here and see if ones available then of course continue it forward.
