Picked up a CZ P07 (2nd gen) at my gun club today and put about 200 rounds through it. What a great pistol - and my first CZ 8) I did a basic field strip and light cleaning on it before shooting. Not a single hiccup. DA is a bit heavy (as expected), but the SA is awesome and it points very naturally for me (better than my Glocks). After I get about 500 rounds through it (including some Hornady critical duty), I plan on using it with an AWIB holster for winter carry (it's just a bit too big for summer carry, like my Glock 19). I really like the ability to de-cock and put it in DA for carry - especially appendix carry. Hard to say at this early stage, but the P07 could become my favorite semi-auto pistol.

Congratulations on your purchase. I bought a P07 last Thursday and hoped it would ship Friday but it just got picked up late today....so I have to wait a bit longer. I'm going to the range with it saturday and will post my results. I like the Decocker and plan to make this my carry gun. I got the FDE but really would like an ODG so if a distributor ever came out with those I'd buy another one.
Glad to hear you didn't have any issues. I mainly use Hornady Critical Defense as my defensive ammo and have a bunch of it so I am hoping my P07 likes that ammo.

Congrats! I totally get it. I've had mine for 2 weeks and 3 range trips gets me to 500 rounds. It's definitely my favorite polymer pistol and maybe my favorite pistol. I sold my Glock 19 a week after I got the P-07.
P.S. I really like the de-cocker too. Mine snaps back at my thumb and hurts sometimes though. I wonder if they are all this snappy!

My de-cocker snaps a bit as well. I experimented with it using my support hand thumb (left thumb) to de-cock. Works really nice without having to adjust your grip to use the lever.
Don't think I'll sell any of my Glocks, but now I completely "get" why so many shooters are such big CZ fans - and that's after only 200 rounds

Congratulations! I think the CZ P-07 is a real winner.
