It is a graphic and not a real picture.


It's a graphic probably produced by the 3D CAD software they used to actually design and produce the real gun, and not some "artist's conception" done after the fact. So the dimensions are probably exactly to scale.

It's the point of view that tricks the mind and confuses the issue. The mind is not accustomed to looking at the pistol with the receiver sectioned, and the grip and muzzle lopped off.

It could be dimensionally correct, but I wouldn't be surprised if they made slight changes. I know one instrument company which always distorts the diagrams of their instrument's optical path to prevent design theft (if you build what they show, it won't work).
