Title: mag loading
Post by: zerodon on July 12, 2016, 09:11:43 PM
Just picked up my Rami yesterday, havent been to the range yet, going tomorrow if I can get the magazine loaded by then. WOW.. the action is great, trigger pull is fantastic, then came to load time. I thought I would have to invite two friends over to help me hold down the spring and load the mags...I have never owned a firearm that is so hard to load. My PMR 30 was a little stiff, My glock 19 was ok, My Baretta was a dream... and now this gun, which I love .... is an exercise of grand proportion... Ant cures, advice, loader accessories, ?... thanks.

I never load any double stack mag without using a mag Uplula, it's the only way to go.

Mine was pretty stiff for a little bit, on recommendations I read here I loaded the mags to near full, or as full as they could get without any abnormal amount of work, and just leave them that way for a couple/few weeks. Since doing that I've had no issues whatsoever loading 10 and 14 rounds in them. I was able to get 9 rds in the 10rd flush mag, and either 12 or 13 in the 14rd mag, that being said it wasn't impossible for me to get 10 and 14rds in them respectively, just not easy at all.

I usually just load half a mag for the first few range sessions.  They get broken in pretty quickly.  Or use a mag loader like mentioned above.  But I'd still not max it out right away.
