Title: Can the Kadet be used on a 75B SA 40 cal?
Post by: Unregistered(d) on July 25, 2002, 09:44:56 AM
On which models can the Kadet .22 conversion kit be used?  I'm considering purchasing a CZ 75B SA in 40 cal, and am hoping this kit can be used in that gun.  Thanks in advance for your reply to rfdillon@hal-pc.org.  Thanks again!

Yes.  I've got a 75b in .40 cal and it works fine.  You have to remember that the 9mm and .40 use essentially the same frame.  My Kadet works great, but doesn't hold the slide open on the last round.  Its not supposed to, but it would be nice if it did.

I have the same set up which initially did the same thing, ie not hold the slide open.  The 40 SW slide stop pin is just a hair short to engage on the follower in the magazine when empty.  I called CZ about it and they said the Kadet adapter was originally designed for the 9 MM verson which has slightly longer slide stop.  They sent me a 9 MM stop and it works great.
