Has anyone had any success with using the kadet adapter with a model 75 SA, mine will not function properly at all. The kadet works really well with my 85 Combat model, but fails to fire at least every other round taking up to 3 strikes.

Sounds like a lighter mainspring on the SA gun. Did you use the same batches of ammo with both types of lowers? I suspect a slightly heavyer mainspring would do the trick. mapdude

yeah same ammo was used through both lower units, do you think a heavier mainspring would efect trigger pull any. The reason I ask is Mike at CZUSA did a trigger job on the 75 SA and it breaks at 2.5 pounds with no take-up or camming of the hammer, I almost hate to mess with perfection.

LOl guess i'm in trouble with the Kadet kit and my 75SA, too.
some things come at a price..sorry buddy.

Two things to try here. One is to sharpen the firing pin chisel point so it is a little narrower. The other is to try a slightly heavyer mainspring. Yes it will increase pull weight but probably not as much with the single action as it would with a double action model. The other thing I have notices with mine is that some lots of ammo are unreliable and others go pop every time depending on the priming mix. If you don't want to do anything then don't shoot the cheap bulk ammo. Spend a little more per box and get CCI mini mags or Aguila .22 LR SE which are very good for the money. mapdude

Called Mike on tuesday this week, he sent out the new chisel point firing pin and spring, received it this morning and installed it. If the snow lets up and my wife allows (ha ha ha) I'll take the 75 SA and see if the functioning is any better.

My 75B SA and kadet work great together. I have not had any problems with it at all. It did require fitting and is very tight on the frame.
I wish the sig trailside I used to have had nearly the same reliability. It was much smoother with a better trigger but failed about once every other mag.
The sig is gone and a s&w 41 is waiting for testing.
I really like the combo. These will most likely be forever guns....
