i own a new cz75b in 9mm and i like it alot. my gun club has two fun shoots on tuesday nights which includes shooting iron disks and on other nights paper silhouettes. alot of guys shoot centerfire (9mm, .40. 45 etc) and alot shot .22. i am very fond of my 9mm cz75b and i got to thinking that with a cadet conversion i would have i would have the flexibiltiy to shoot either caliber as i so choose. the advantages are obvious (economy, flexibility etc). just how accurate are these cadet conversions? and just how reliable are they? my cz in 9 mil is exceptionally reliable so far --how will the .22 do? if the accuracy is not on a par with other .22 target pistols then i don't want it. if it is accurate and reliable i would be a bleep fool not to buy one. how would a whole cadet pistol vary from a cadet conversion on a cz75 9mm? thanks alot.

I don't think I can answer all of your questions as I just got a 75B with the conversion already fitted to the pistol. My guess is that beyond correctly fitting the Kadet the next step is finding out what it likes in the way of ammo. I only shot about 50 rounds of mixed ammo. My first impression is that this is the best conversion I have ever shot for either pistol or rifle. The design is simple yet very good to help simulate firing the 75 with 9mm. The accuracy is on par with most .22 pistols although I feel less accurate than my target Ruger. I think though that the right ammo will make a difference. I will keep you posted on my progress.
