I have been a long term 'guest' on the forum's pages, love the wealth of technical information and the gentlemanly tone of this firearms community.
I took the plunge this summer, bought myself a little present, a stock SA VZ, judging by the serial number, manufactured in 1961. I have transformed it slightly, will post pics as soon as I get around to editing them.
I wish I bought it last year, in the beginning of 2015 they went for EUR 150 ($170), a month ago I could not find a new one for less than EUR 350, if you are lucky enough to find one. I hope you'll enjoy the images, will post more on request.

Very Nice! 8) Congratulations and Welcome to the Forum! :)

Welcome, that's still a bargain compared to US prices these days.
EDIT: I didn't quite register what that was at first, so yeah, that really would be a bargain here!

Is it full auto or semi?

Is it full auto or semi?
Semi, you cannot legally take home a full auto rifle in Europe, unless you have some very special permit or live in Switzerland. Still brings a lot of joy.

Love it!!!!
