I finally made it to the range with my Scorpion carbine and brought along 3 different weight 9mm loads. The carbine ran beautifully with all 3 weights 115,124 and 147 gun. When doing accuracy testing at 50 yards the tightest groups were shot with the 124 gun loads, and I mean really tight. The 115 and 147 loads had the groups open up a little, so my Carbine definitely prefers the 124s. Moving out to 100 yards I thought for sure all the loads would have a drop like a stone. To my surprise they did not drop and still shot to the POA that I zeroed the carbine at 50 yards. To say that i'm pleased with CZs Scorpion carbine is a huge understatement, this thing rocks.

Good to hear,I love my pistol and it's very accurate as well.

In my personal experience, 124gr was the most precise as well. Does not like 115gr at all, groups really open up.
Hope you enjoy your Scorp as much as I enjoy mine! ;)

Is this based on a variety of ammo or a specific load?

Perfecta, WWB, and Federal were all 115gr. 124gr was Blazer. Shot a few 124gr HST's as well.
Shooting off-hand @ 50yards I was getting 4-5" groups. Shrank to about 2" with the 124gr.

I have yet to shoot any 124g in my Scorp yet...I did just buy a box of S&B 124g to give them a try soon!!! I have shot some Winchester 147g and some S&B 140g and at 100 yds. You can see the results below.

The 115g shoots just fine in it.

I have the carbine with the muzzle brake.
All of these loads were shot at 50 yards, 5 shot groups, shot over chrono, bench rested.
Factory UMC Rem. 115gr. Ball = 1276 fps, E.S. 55, 3.62" group
Factory Speer Gold Dot 124gr. +P = 1405 fps, E.S. 17, 2.05" group
Reloads-5.2gr. Win. AutoComp, CCI 500 primer, 124gr. Speer Gold Dot, mixed brass = 1236 fps, E.S. NA, 1.74" group
Reloads-5.2gr. Win. AutoComp, CCI 500 primer, 115gr. RMR FMJ, mixed brass = 1329 fps, E.S. 38, 1.53" group-new A1 flash hider installed
So far my most accurate load is my 115 gr. reloads.
By the way, I removed the factory muzzle brake and installed an AR-15 style A1 muzzle brake (made for 9mm). I did this because I have gotten a few flyers with shooting the original muzzle brake. I want to see if this is the brake doing this or if I'm pulling my shots.
I had one 5 shot group while shooting with the original muzzle brake that was pretty impressive. I shot 4 rounds into a .66" group at 50 yards but the 5th round opened it up to over 2". This group was shot with my Gold Dot reloads.
I have shot both brakes using my 115gr. RMR FMJ reloads. The original brake has produced groups from 1.74" to 2.27" at 50 yards, while the A1 brake produced a group size of 1.53" at 50 yards. I need to do more testing with different loads before offering an opinion on the accuracy difference between the two brakes on my carbine.
