Hey everyone, i just ordered my scorpion and am already planning out my mods list. So far, I've ordered the KAK adapter, tube and Shockwave blade and will be for sure ordering the Yeti Wurks Switchback grip and HB reduced power spring kit. I'm still undecided whether or not I'm going to order any new trigger shoe.
I'm interested in an aftermarket charging handle and am wondering if there are any options for a folding charging handle. I have Manticore's Switchback Micro on my AUG and love it, but noticed their Scorpion offering does not fold. Any suggestions or does anyone know if any manufacturer is thinking about a folding handle?

I don't think a folding charging handle would be practical due to the small size of the front end of the pistol. I find the after market chargers are long enough and dont get in the way. If it folded, it would fold forward and that might cause a user to place their hand forward of the muzzle to grab it and unfold it. If it folded toward the shooter it would be even more impractical. I replaced my charging handle and left the factory charging handle on the other side for off hand cycling.

Who is manually charging their weapon with a finger on the trigger?

The CH is actually a great thumb rest.
A new handle is last on my list of considerations, but it is (still kinda) on the list.
So far, I haven't had any problems operating the stock CH, and I (almost) always use gloves with the Scorpion, so no grated knuckles yet. Honestly, other than charging the weapon initially, the CH isn't used that much, at least in my experience.
The two most needed upgrades for the Scorpion (imo) are:
1) Trigger. It sucks really bad. Best bang for buck hands down.
2) Safety(s). Especially the one nearest your trigger finger (HBI ak style is AWESOME, jus' sayin').
Grip would probably be my third pick, followed closely by an extended paddle release (I LOVE my GHW paddle release).
Everything else is subjective dependent on personal preference .

You should be asking manticore and yeti about a fch
