Hey, all. New to the forum and brand new 452 American owner.
I picked up my new rifle a week ago, put a Leupold 2-7 scope on it, and have been at the range with it every chance I could get since then. So far, I am really loving this gun. I've tried several different brands of .22 LR, from cheap stuff to Eley and Wolf match ammo. Luckily for my pocketbook, it seems to shoot pretty well with CCI Mini-mags.
My 452 came with a pretty good trigger. I may at some point try to lighten it a bit, but for now I am finding it to be just fine.
This rifle appears to be extremely accurate. My only lament now is that I didn't buy two of them! 😀

Thanks for the report, and welcome.
Keep us posted how she is doing.

Despite the many, many good things I had read over the years about the 452, as well as CZ's in general, I was still not prepared for how good this rifle is.

Welcome to the addiction/affliction. If you have a good one they are so consistent it's almost boring to shoot one. Humbling to, when I get a flyer I know it's Operator error.

Humbling is an understatement. I can tell immediately when I've screwed up.

Well, my new 452 is taking a break until spring. For some reason, 22 LR's don't seem to want to fly straight when it's cold outside.
Meanwhile, the new rifle got me hooked on doing something I always insisted I'd never do- punching holes in paper, and chasing cloverleaf groups. Along the way, I found out that my rifle "likes" expensive match ammo (darn- why couldn't it like the cheaper stuff?), and also that I really did get a good one. The thing is way more accurate than I am.
Hopefully, in a few weeks we will get, some warmer weather, and I will be back to my quest for smaller and smaller groups. :

My Style loves Automatch, though I suspect some flyers aren't just me. I'm not competing so it doesn't bother me much. If I get tired of poking holes there's always clay pigeon shards at the target stand to shatter!
