For those of you that have a surplus CZ 82, how is the SA trigger pull?
Mine has an excellent DA, but the SA has an extreme amount of creep before the trigger breaks. So much so that I'm thinking something has to be wrong with it?
I've owned other CZ's in the past, so I'm well aware they seem to have more creep and camming in SA than other designs due to possible long hammer hooks/too much sear engagement.
Thanks in advance for any info/experience you can provide.

I sold my 82 a long time back but it had a pretty good SA break on it. It didnt rival my current 1911 but I never had a problem predicting when the hammer would fall.

My 82 is sweet in SA. It almost feels like it has had a trigger job done on it.
It's my understanding from others that it is supposed to be that way.
I would say something is amiss.

CZ 82/83 usually has very long trigger pull in SA (compared to 75), but very soft and sweet.

I own two CZ-82s...one in pretty nice shape, while the other is in truck gun condition. Both have excellent trigger pulls in SA...short, soft and sweet. The DA trigger pull is a bit longer and feels gritty.
If you're uncomfortable with the creep in SA, you may want to compare with another CZ-82 if you can find one locally.
