Hey guys,
I have owned a 2013 model P-09 and a 2014 model P-07, and sold both off to chase other interests at the time. I've since wanted to get back into the DA/SA game, and also back into the CZ game, and I'm looking at buying another P-07. I looked at a brand new 2016 stamp P-07 at Gander Mountain today. That gun did seem easier to rack than my 2014 P-07 (which was one of the reasons I sold it). It also seems that the trigger shoe is different -- I remember my P-07 and P-09 triggers as being rather thick, smooth, and with a matte finish. The new P-07's trigger seemed to be a little thinner, and maybe not quite as smooth to the touch. Not talking about trigger pull, here, but the actual trigger shoe.
I wanted to ask if you all know if CZ has made any rolling changes to the P-07 over time. Do they seem easier in general to manipulate now than they used to be? Has CZ changed the trigger -- or maybe I'm just remembering my old ones differently?
Picking it up at the store just felt like home in my hands. I'm looking forward to owning one again.
Cheers,
Jason

I think there is a new trigger style out there.

Does there seem to be a certain date after which the new trigger style is likely to be on the gun? I did notice that CGW has the "P-09" trigger for sale, for guys who want the newer trigger in their P-07 Duty. The picture on their website matches what I consider to be the "original" P-09 trigger (vs. what is apparently a newer style). It's good to know that I could source an original style one if I did find a gun with the newer style, and if I decided that I didn't like it as much. Does anyone at CGW know any other details about the triggers, and if CZ is claiming certain improvements in the new ones vs. the ones from a few years ago, when the P-09 first came out?

For what it's worth, David @ CGW affirmed that CZ is shipping a newer style of trigger in these than was first available in the P-07 (post Duty) and P-09, and he said that it's been pretty universally liked.
