New CZ 97 B that I converted to SAO. Very happy with the pistol, it feels great, has those amazing CZ ergonomics we all love, and it simply flies out of the holster! So far 500 rounds down range without a ftf, fte, or light strike. Mix of 200 and 230 grain RN's at a couple of different OAL'S. Very soft recoil with the loads I have used.
Converted it to SAO right out of the box, included some pics of the stripped down frame, the parts, and a couple of shots of the final product.
Mirror polish on the internals during the install.
Here is a list of parts (all from CGW):
Race Hammer, adjustable sear, flat trigger, extended FP, replaced all Springs with CGW ones, target rear sight, also removed FP block.
Very happy with the parts. The CGW parts are all top quality and very easy to install.
Have an extended safety and nil grips coming.
Will send it to CGW for a bushing upgrade and barrel crown job soon.
(After a few thousand more rounds go down range)
Any suggestions for other upgrades to try? This pistol is going to be used for L 10, steel matches, and range use.

I'd love to have that! Nice choices on upgrades too.

Does the rear sight on the 97B get in the way of thumbing back the hammer?

It was a little odd the first few times I cocked the hammer but, it does have enough room for my thumb. It gives a bit longer sight radius as well. Eventually I will have it milled out for the LPA sight. It is a real nice sight overall, great sight picture and very well made.

Bill,
Can you tell me which LPA sight you used (i.e. model number)? And how has it worked out? I swapped in the Hi-viz F/O rear right and its much lower than the original sight.
Thanks man
