Dumb question I know, but, I have both and will carry both. Does the Cajun defensive carry package service turn out the same for both pistols? I would assume it does but just thought I'd ask, as I can't afford to do both. Also to those who own both, I'm looking for a good custom leather holster for the P-01 and hoping it will work for the PCR. Hope I am making sense here. Thanks

I have a PCR Pro that I purchased the complete firearm from CGW in December of 2015 (Delivered in February of 2016) and I purchased a P01 in September of 2016 and installed the PRO kit. They both feel similar but, my son claims the P01 feels lighter in SA. Plus, I installed the 10X bushing in both. The only difference I see is something stupid in my mind. It's the decocking lever movement, the P01 is smoother. I actually polished the sides of the cage where the decocker could touch it as well as the side that could touch the sear as well as the side of the sear that could touch the decocker. Remember the PRO and the DEFENSIVE kit only differ in the modified 85C trigger is included in the PRO kit (I think I'm right).....

I own both, and have the pro pkg in both......the pkg itself is identical, the "feel" in each gun is nearly identical......there is ALWAYS some slight variation in anything with that many moving parts, everything mechanical for that matter. That being said, the variation in feel is ever so slight, and I would go on to say that only the most discriminating gun owner would notice it at all. "Exactly" the same it somewhat of an illusion.....very close is realistic.

Thanks blue. Since this is going to be mainly a carry gun, would you recommend the pro package or just the defensive package? Maybe some range use, but not competition. Thanks

Not sure of your experience level......that said you can't go wrong with the defensive carry package for any experience level or for price and performance.....:)

I'd stick with the defensive package.......the main difference between that and the pro pkg is the short reset trigger.....I do all my own gun smithing, the short reset is nice but definitely not necessary, in fact I kinda prefer the CZ's w/o the short reset, it makes the trigger pull very short and light.....which means its possible to accidently set off a round unless your really comfortable with this setup.....hence the regular reset I prefer for most things, which still has a light trigger pull but a longer take-up until the trigger engages the sear.

I just put the defensive package in my 75c, it is fantastic. Much lighter DA and all but eliminates the creep from SA. Much shorter reset too.
But alas, I broke my wrist the day after I put it in si l can't tell you how it shoots.

One thing I would suggest is the trigger reach reduction kit in-lieu-of short reset.......makes a big difference in feel and the trigger is still adjustable to your liking. Hope this helps.....

Blue, thanks that does help. I have a Sig Legion P226 and I do enjoy the short reset trigger on that pistol, BUT, it is not a carry pistol.

Glad I could offer some suggestions......they are based on a fair amount of experience working on and shooting CZ's......best of luck!

Isn't the difference in the defensive carry package and pro package the RRK? I believe that's what the additional $88 is for.

This is my understanding as well. The RRK is included with the Pro kit but not with the Defensive carry kit. I'm considering doing the defensive carry kit on my SP01 Compact since I don't have an issue with the reach or trigger.
