Title: Should I Get a P-01 Made in 2014?
Post by: RogerCZ75Bfan on January 09, 2017, 04:38:46 PM
Hey guys, been awhile. You know more about the P-01s than I do. Is there any reason why I shouldn't buy a new one built in 2014?
The reason I ask is there are certain pistol manufacturers (won't mention any names) where it would be advisable to avoid certain years of production. Just wanted to see if that was the case with the CZ P-01 or not.

The P-01 is a sound design. No reason not to grab a 2014 model if the price is right.

2014 is a good year like any other year for your P-01.

There are no "bad" years of CZ to avoid like with Colt and S&W. The older guns (like guns old enough to be marked "Czechslovakia") do tend to be a little rougher in finish, but still functionally solid.

This is pretty much what I expected because we're talking about CZ. Just thought I'd make sure. Thanks for the info and assurance guys.
