Title: Does your de-cocker lever move?
Post by: TNman on January 13, 2017, 08:45:23 PM
I noticed my de-cocker lever seems loose once I release the lever into half cock position. It's firmly seated before pushing the lever. Once the lever is pushed down I can move the now loose lever up and down a little. No problem firing but just didn't recall it being able to jiggle before. Is that normal?

Seems like there was a post about this not too long ago and it turned out to be an improper decocker spring install. If you haven't had it apart maybe a spring has sprung or something. I think the post was related to non-CZ gunsmith working on a guy's gin.

Thanks rhart for the heads up. I will search for the post because I think it does have to do with a spring.

Here's the thread I think rhart was referring to. http://www.czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=83741

Okay...I know why my de-cocker lever is moving. It's not the CZ it's me. When I installed the Cagun Ultra?-lite kit the itsy bitsy de-cocker spring must have flown to who knows where. It's just a $2 part that cost me an untold amount of aggravation. AND, it's an out-of-stock item everywhere.
