Title: What rear sight is this? Wanting the SDP sight setup
Post by: Stopsign32v on January 17, 2017, 10:52:07 AM
Can anyone tell me what rear sight this is? I went to Heinie's site and looked under their SlantPro but didn't see anything for CZ...

Does anyone actually read posts or do they just read title, see picture, and reply?

Yep.

I was looking at the 1 Dot last night and thought it was that.  Didn't notice the bevel and radius difference until now.  So, I ran the rabbit trail and got lost.  Sorry.

We forgive you Viking.  ;D

I think the sight might be this one.

Kind of reminds me of a 10-8 rear sight.

Yes, it certainly looks like the one.

Thanks, I'm guessing a P-01 has a .500 x 65 degree dovetail cut?

As far as i know CZ dovetails need to be re profiled to except Heinie sights in general. They require a novak cut. Personally i wound ship my slide to CGW or CZC for work like this. I can install sights ok but i am not up to re profiling a dovetail.

Ah great, guess I'll be doing that. I thought it would be as easy as my Glock putting in a Vickers sight. Nylon punch, hammer, liquor, and 5 mins.
