It's the OD Green one. They do pop up from time to time, but apparently someone wanted one now.
   Wow. Too much for me[emoji50]

Daaaang. A couple years ago I saw an OD Green P-01 at a gun show and was told I could have it for 500$ cash, but I was an idiot and walked away. Still kick myself over that.

I have one of the OD Green P-01s. Makes me think I should put it on Gunbroker and make an easy couple hundred dollars! Wow, $870, really?

Wow, I think I sold my OD Green P-01 for about $550 shipped when I purged my CZ collection of decocker guns about a year ago, and I was happy to mostly make my money back.

Wow, that was an expensive P 01..  And wow I had no idea the 83s were going for that much.  I'm pretty partial to my sig 232 in a larger sized .380.  They seem to also be rising in value.

More specifically, the ones in 7.65mm/.32 are the ones that can get a bit crazy with the bidding.

What's wrong with the decockers

believe triggers are not as smooth on them from my understanding

I do not own enough of them, this is the only problem with CZ decockers.  ;D

I believe it comes down to preference in battery of arms. I own a few CZ75 variant safety models and a few decockers and there is no discernible difference in the triggers in tuned or stock configuration. I would say that the factory variance from pistol to pistol is misinterpreted as an issue or asset with decockers/safety models. If someone can give me a mechanical or design reason why a safety model would have a better trigger than a decocker i would be very interested to hear it. To be clear i am not calling out mad1521. I have heard this misconception many times. For a while i even believed it, until i owned and worked on both CZ model types.

I don't own a CZ decocker. I do shoot a decocker Sig
Everything I've read from sources I have full confidence in says the CZ D triggers can be  so close to safety versions , it takes a  pro shooter to feel any difference.

The CZ decocker has a couple more parts in the action.  CZs already have lots of parts.  Not the easiest to DIY tune/repair.
One argument for the DA/SA safety version is that it can be fired/carried in the same half-cock position along with the other condition options.

If CZ offered a  steel/metal 75 carry version to fit my preferences,   I wouldn't hesitate to get the decocker.
For range, comp.or even home defense,   a decocker offers zero benefits for me.

I think some of these "mechanical characteristics" are why some prefer the safety versions..
P. S. I have never used the safeties on my CZs.

I just picked up this OD P-01 in Texas at a gun show. It is unknown at this time many CZ shipped state side in this configuration. Model 91198
(http://i1257.photobucket.com/albums/ii503/topcote/91198_zpsn7zxbe8e.jpg) (http://s1257.photobucket.com/user/topcote/media/91198_zpsn7zxbe8e.jpg.html)

There was a limited shipment of these in the early 2000's, only 600 pieces made it here over a 3 year period. I believe these popped up in very limited numbers last year, and yes KYgunco sold out fast. If you see one buy it. Does anybody know the best night sites for this model?  ..............IN STOCK

If you look at the design closely, the decocker should potentially have a better trigger than the safety versions.  The reason I think this is the case is twofold.  First, the decocker has the sear pin run through the frame which, while making it a total PITA to disassemble, ties the sear cage to the frame eliminating sear cage movement.  Second, the hammer only uses a single side hook in SA mode which could improve the feel of the SA trigger pull by reducing the friction surface between the hammer and sear.

One of the early pre-B CZs I have has a lot of sear cage play in it and no matter how much I tune the trigger, it will always have just a bit of wonkiness to it when the sear cage moves at the beginning of the trigger pull.  If it were pinned through the frame like on my P01 and 40P, there would be zero movement of the cage and the trigger pull would only impact the parts that it's supposed to impact.

Back on topic:  I don't know how many of the OD P01s were made, but the one I bought seemed to languish in the LGS counter for a while before I bought it.  I think they had a second one as well.
