A question in General Discussion got me thinking - how fast and how well could you deploy the BREN 805 pistol if carried on a single point sling in an area where such firepower might be necessary, such as bear country when not actively hunting such animals, just walkin' in the woods. Would it be effective enough to warrant such a thing?
Thoughts?

Add a light (for low to no light) and/or green laser (all times at self-defense distance) and you can easily shoot from the hip w/ little practice. W/ practice, you can fire from the hip and/or point shoot w/ not a lot of trouble...
That said, if I were in bear country, I'd want at least 7.62x39 (or 300 blk) over 5.56 at close ranges, but YMMV.

An arm brace will be out soon for the Bren 805, we should have one on display on our Bren 805 pistol at NRA show 8)

So looking forward to it. Will it require the CZ adapter or not?
