The title says it all... almost. I figured the mag tube for the Para P14/16 is very close to the Sar K2-45 so step one let's see if it fits. IT DOES. Step two let's see if the Arredondo extended mag spring and follower work. Mmmm sort of? The OEM Sar K2 follower and spring let me load 17 rounds in the magazine while still being able to lock the slide back, the Arredondo spring and follower only let me load 16 with all of the masculine strength I can muster. Step three go to the range tomorrow morning to see if these pads will function reliably with either spring/follower combination. Here's some pictures of tacticool goodness.

Very Interesting! :)

Great news, with the oem spring and follower I got 100% reliability. 17+1 of 45acp ain't too shabby. Now that was with only 100 rounds of Herter's 230gr ball I picked up at Cabela's. I'll be testing more loads in the weeks to come. I think next on the chopping block is main hammer spring and recoil spring calibration packs from Wolff. I have a great gun I use for USPSA Limited but the Sar is just too much fun to not play with. Competitive in limited division? Absolutely not, but a good starter for people who don't want to throw down on a CZ Tactical Sport? Maybe.

Thanks and good to hear! The SAR K2 in .45 is really an incredible firearm at a crazy low price, I'm bummed it didn't catch on more. I have two and my buy a third to have a backup on the backup; as I'm not sure they will be around to buy much longer. EAA said they stopped importing them and TR Imports said they have no plans to import the K2.

17+1 in 45 acp? Nice. May pick up one or two of these for extra options. Thanks for sharing.
