A CZ 75 SP-01 Tactical

What are some things to take into consideration with this gun? I'm very new to handguns.

Nice choice. The finest duty gun on the market IMO, no doubt. The only thing that it 'needs' in my opinion is a lighter double action. I think my SP-01 was around 14lbs stock. It's around 8 now with the Cajun Gun Works hammer spring kit.
But shoot it a bunch then decide. No need to tinker with it now, but the DA is pretty ridiculously heavy IMO.

Just did first 100 rounds, zero malfunctions, and its and my accuracy is the best I've done aside from a 4k dollar sti 1911.

Good choice! (I have one of those, only in OD Green)
Buy it lots and lots of ammo, they are very hungry

Very nice. I just picked up one of those myself.

Excellent choice, just recently got one myself.
And yeah, buy lots of ammo. I found an good deal for 1000 rounds of 124g 9mm for about $140 shipped.

It's remanufactured ammo. I just used them recently when i went to the range.
Website looks weird, but they shipped my order the same day and came in about 3 or 4 days. And it was only about $13 to ship 1,000 rounds. I ordered some recently on an sale.
I said it could even do $13 shipping for 1,500 rounds as well. Every other website wanted $25+ for shipping and some even included tax on top of that.
