SAR-USA is the new importer for SAR weapons to the US. They were at NRA in Atlanta and I got one of their catalogs of offerings. Several folks asked in another thread if they were going to be importing x, y, or z models. Here is a list of the models they have in their catalog:
SAR 109T
SAR 223T
B6
B6C
CM9
SAR9
ST40
ST45
P8 L
P8 S
2000
K2-45
K12
K-12 Sport
SR38
The folks at the booth said they would be getting models in as quickly as possible and if I had a specific request to drop them a note.

That is great news. A source of factory parts in the USA will go a long way legitimizing the brand. Not sure if it is the link but having a real web site would be a help too.

In the other thread PPS1980 stated that he was told by the people at UTAS-USA that "They have SAR-USA.Com reserved but its parked right now", meaning
that the website is not yet operational.

Are they bringing the mega 9mm ?

Are they bringing the mega 9mm ?
If they'll be importing what's in the catalog then yes, both the Kilinc 2000 Mega and Light are in there. :)
-
Does anyone have a mega 9 ? I want to see a review
-
Not sure this is the "mega 9"
Sarsilmaz Kilinc 2000 Mega
If it is then those search words turns up a bunch of reviews/tests. Getting to be like CZ, Colt and Kimber....you need a program to know the players
-
I'm pretty excited about this. Hopefully Cajun gun works will support these pistols even if it's limited like TriStar.
-
Yes! Looking forward to seeing these guns.
-
They are replacing TRImports?
-
Excited to see what they bring in, I love my SAR's (have 4 of them!)

I had emailed Mark Barton asking about B6C calibers other than 9mm and if they would be bringing in either of the Sarsilmaz carbines, here's the reply I got today:
John,
Our line will include the B6C in .380acp and an arm stabilized pistol version of the 223T with a 10.5? barrel.

Really does sound like they plan to import the entire line where possible.

Yes, but understand that SAR-USA has several other issues that may reduce the range of weapons available in the US from SAR. The SAR catalog you linked to is very nice but if the weapon is restricted from export by Turkey, we dont get it; if the weapon is not cleared for import into the US, we don't get it; if SAR has already committed to another US importer, then we can't get it through SAR-USA; and finally, SAR-USA doesn't have to carry the entire line. That is why I listed the items that SAR-USA says they will be importing. If they import others that is icing on the cake but at this point their list of weapons is much more comprehensive than EAA's was ever.

I listed the catalogue so we could see details of the models you listed.
I tried going to www.SAR-USA.Com and it showed GoDaddy Domain Available.

From what has been heard at the NRA Shot Show, UTAS will be importing all of the Sarsilmaz products, under the name SAR-USA, here's the product catalog link for Sarsilmaz.
Neither the UTAS or SAR-USA websites reflect this as yet, especially since the latter has yet to be built. http://www.sar-usa.com/

I picked up a kilinc 2000 mega ss recently through tr. It is really a wonderful firearm. Finish is beautiful, controls are solid and crisp, shoots and cycles smoothly and recoil is barely existent. Machining is excellent and tolerances are super tight. Put 400 rounds through without a hiccup. Trigger is wide and flat but is much more comfortable than the b6 trigger which is very sharp on the edges. Comes with standard military sights but I found them to be bright and easy to pickup quickly. Stock grips were nice and provided plenty of texture. Very comfortable. It performed flawlessly and my 75b actually felt a little bulky after shooting the mega. Does have the reverse safety, but I found it very easy to get used to and actually a little more convenient in some aspects. Shot 9's and 10's almost immediately at 10 and 15yds and at the end of the day was doing 6 inch groups at 25 yds. This is an excellent gun for the price right now. Sar is making some excellent guns right now for a steal. I also own a b6 full size and a cm9 gen 2, the latter of which has become my backup carry. If you like polymer, the cm9 is unbelievable. Check it out too.

I got a reply to my email sent to SAR from Austin Cole at TR imports. He says they will be the importer of SAR but will not offer the K2.
