Still breaking in a NIB CZ 83 with markings indicating a 1989 production date. Am having some difficulty adjusting to an exceptionally long SA trigger pull - exceptionally long compared to my Kimber or my Sig. With continuous practice, I'm sure I can master this fine firearm, but is this long SA trigger pull proper functioning for a CZ 83?

It is relative of course to what you are used to, but I don't think mine has the shortest of SA trigger pulls either. It breaks really clean though. Mine is a dream to shoot and very accurate regardless.

Agree. Was over at the NRA Range this morning firing my CZ83 and I think I've got the trigger pull figured out. And, yes, this CZ is more accurate than I would have ever imagined.
