I was browsing the forums today and thought it would be fun to start a CZ pistol picture thread. We could show off our favoriate pistols.
I'll start. My wife took these pics. Hope you enjoy.

Here are a couple of my favorite pictures. First is my newest project gun, the CZ 75B "Desert Tactical" in 40 S&W. Pictured with it is the CZ etched Kershaw Vapor II knife.

Next are my "Pair to Draw To". On top is my satin nickel 75B in 9 mm with Hakan Pek grips and below is my "RSR Special" 97B in .45 ACP with Omega grips.

No pics from me (yet), but I keep hearing this.
What's an "RSR Special?"
TIA!
Bill
-
Bill:
There's a thread over on at Club 97B, but in short the "RSR Special" was a very short run of 97B's that CZ made for RSR, a major firearms distributor. There were only 60 satin nickel and 60 two tone (black slide & satin nickel frame) 97B's made.

Actualy it is just a piece of cloth my wife had. I thought the same thing after I took the picture though and thought it would make some nice desert camo. LOL

More like jungle camo....

dleong,
Which anime is that? Waay cool!
Bill
-
Bill,
That's a screencap from an episode of Vandread: The Second Stage. One of the main characters, Barnette Orangello, uses that "pre-B" CZ 75 as her primary sidearm. Here she is in action with it:

dleong: that is some of the nicest firearm photography I've seen; now I feel embarrassed to show my photos!
As for the anime, Rally of Gunsmith Cats uses a 75B, and a few years ago there was an action figure (http://specialtyretailers.darkhorse.com/profile/profile.php?sku=10-066) of her that came with one along with a Beretta sniper rifle.

My Champion (The one I used in the last 3 STI American Hangunner Match Wins) & My newly converted TS 9mm. Note the cut down frame and slimmed grips, also the ultra high undercut on the trigger guard it is also wearing the new Slim AL grips and magwell. We took so much metal of this gun it is nearly the same frame as standard 75

I have some more...... did not want to tke them all out.
Really should photgraph them all if not just for insurance purposes.
Angus
-
Ain't fair, actually.
Its like asking a guy who's been through a first-aid class to compare his medical kit to that of a brain surgeon.
-
Too true! And to top it off, they PAY him to shoot 'em!
Oh! That cool laser; do they think they will market it, and will it fit a P-01, too?
*sigh*
Bill
-
I took a leaf from TGO (robbie) now I keep all the guns that I win, shooting matches so I have a few. IS fir really, when I think how much time effort and money into my shooting.......... That was way before I "got" anything.
My work for CZ is just that work, lots of it. When you positively have to be there it fun sometimes becomes work.
-
Yeah, I understand... I wuz jus' kidding!
And I know about the fun becoming work... I was a huge music fan, went to work my "dream job" in a high-end stereo store. After 2 years, I almost never listened to music at home!
Bill
-
And sometimes it stays fun...worked at an indoor range for 1.5 years, loved every minute of it, would never have left, if it wasn't for the low pay...

MORE PICS..................

Angus,
Indeed, if another laser for the CZ 100 becomes available, please let me know, as I too would like to get my hands on one.
My CZ 100 awaits:

Now that's differant - only the old 52 has custom grips!
Gonna put some more on? Nice quartet.
-
Probably not. I love the work Omega and some of the other guys do, but I like the feel of the rubber grips. I put the Hogues on the 52 because they fill my hands better than the standard grips.

I guess it's part of the CZ family now, so....

I was trying out my new Canon PowerShot S3 IS on variety of subjects, one of which was my 75B:

Dleong,
Interesting grips, and interesting options at their website! How do you like them? The price is certainly decent!
Bill
Oh, and, killer picture... nice work!
-
wlchase,
Thank you, sir!
The Trausch grips fit my hands perfectly, and I have them on all of my 75Bs. The moulded checkering on the sides are "grippy" enough to ensure a solid grip with sweaty hands without being overly-aggressive, and the raised rear increases the contact area of the backstrap with the palm of the shooting hand, helping to spread the recoil impulse.
All in all, I find them to be exceedingly comfortable and practical grips (even more so than the CZ factory rubber grips, which are already darned good!). However, several of my shooting colleagues have commented that the Trausch grips felt funny in their hands, and they did not quite warm up to the wide rear.
For that reason, I would strongly advise against obtaining a set of these grips "sight unseen" until you have actually had an opportunity to try them out.
Trausch's website certainly has some interesting finish options for the CZ 75 grips, but I'll stick to Basic Black, thank you very much!
-
More fun with the new PowerShot S3 IS:
Both images of my CZ 100 above were taken with the S3 IS in the "manual" mode's "macro" setting. There was insufficient lighting for the autofocus mechanism to function correctly, so focusing was also done manually.
When there is sufficient lighting for the autofocus to work correctly, the results are pretty decent, as the following image demonstrates:
All images were taken with the S3 IS mounted on a tripod, with natural lighting from an adjacent window.
-
Those are some excellent pics Dleong. Almost looks like I could pick the pistol up off the screen.
-
Nice!
I gotta say, that 100 sure grows on a guy!
(Maybe I'll have to put off the 52 purchase!
: )
Bill
-
Howdy!
I'm not sure if y'all saw this one. It's my recoated 40P with my CZ Bayonet!! (the color on the 40P is really more of a tan, called "Dark Earth". It matches my "Desert Tactical" 75B)
Otto
-
Cool I love the bayo.
-
Whats the camo it's sitting on?
-
armoredman:
That is "experimental" Czech Republic desert camo. The design was apparently made for the Czech army during Desert Storm, but according to some camo experts, never went much beyond some early production and was not issued to the Czech troops.
The actual item that the 40P is resting on is a small duffel bag made of this material that I found over on Ebay. Occasionally you'll find a hat or jacket made of this same camo, but it's pretty rare.
Otto
-
WANT HAT. Sorry, love oddball camo....

My CZ 40B, adorned with a recently-acquired set of wood grips from Omega:

armoredman and wlchase,
Thank you for those kind comments. My reason for taking the picture was to show off the gorgeous grips by Omega. They are truly a work of art.

Add some CZ rifles.
