Title: New Member, thanks for letting me in. Got a CZ 27 Question
Post by: DaSvenska on June 12, 2017, 07:10:09 PM
Hello, I have one of the fnh CZ 27's. It has the WA stamp on the right side, the crest on top of the weapon next to the serial # as well as a marking on the barrel noticeable by looking at the right side. Serial # 289897. Trying to get a year built and who may have carried it. Any help will be most appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Posting some pictures of all of the markings would help with the identification.

From the serial number alone, it looks like it would have been produced in 1942.

Are you sure it is a WA instead of maybe a VA?

I happen to have a post-war CZ27 that has no proof marks whatsoever and no import marks, which puts it into the 1946-1949 timeframe.  Most likely 1946 as it has a glossy blued finish on the slide and frame.  Its serial number is 477xxx.

It is definitely the "WA" Stamp. The barrel has the Swastika engraved in it as well. There is also a what appears to be a marking  on top off the slide right next to the serial number.
