hey all i have a cz 85 combat is see by the ejection port it was manufactured in 09
i see alot of 85's with czusa stamped on it ,
i dont have any thing like that can some one help me what is the difference
sorry if its a stupid question lol but cz told me to look for import markings.  there is none that i can find or i am ignorant to where they are or look like ]

By the ejection port, I presume you refer to the oval that used be be above the extractor. It's possible that it's 89 and not 09. Those digit stampings were not precisely done back in that era. I also think the year mark was moved from the area above the ejection port to a place closer to the front of the slide muzzle around 2008. There are so called "GI bring backs" bought by service members at the US military sporting clubs that will not have an import mark. Would be nice to see photos of your CZ85.
